For some reason your description immediately reminded me of Dwight Scrute. -
somewhat menial industrial job
but i do get to work with very unique manufacturing processes and indulge in the technology behind them, giving me very highly regarded skills
kind of undecided on whether to climb within the company or just save up my ridiculously high salary (relative to the work i put out) for a good education, but its a decision for a later date anyway.
kids who get in debt for life just to be fully educated but unemployed by 25 make me giggle. -
I studied photography, shoot pretty much anything and then sell my pictures to a variety of newspapers, magazines and the like. since this happens on a free-agent-basis it´s not a very reliable source of income. thats why I produce unadulterated crystal meth of the highest order in my basement.

That never fails to amuse me.
I mooch off of my rich daddy, we also invest in stocks together and I occasionally do day-trading. When I get out of high school I will be starting a company (probably in the IT field) as capital isn't a problem, I'm also looking into real estate investing and taking advantage of a possible boom in that industry. It helps that I have an impressive list of connections. It's not what you know, it's who you know. Contemplating whether or not a business education is worth it, or just a waste of time. Either way, I will never be working for anybody. Feels good man. -
