I could only talk about Hakenkreuz as a reference, because our version and pretty much all the other (except CF Japan) removed all the Nazi logo. So maybe they don't tolerate it at all because of that or else it would had stayed normal instead of being replaced by X sign.
Even in the warehouse where's 2 sets of lights on the ceiling, well, believe it or not, but each sets removed 4 lights because it was meant to represent the Nazi sign as well.
And no, I'm not into WW2 discussion and such, *.* Just wanted to share some infos. -

I filled out already 3 Support tickets, but no reaction.....

Yes, would look nicer with the original looks, but scared whet the community response would be if they changed it back. -

There should be a maturity content option like that in Modern Warfare 2 (an example, don't yell at me!) which would let you be able to see the orignal images, for example, anyone else here agree? (probably would rquire putting in the original map too and extra coding :rolleyes:)

Probably falls under the racial hate rule violation.
BUT, since the accounts in the clan and the clan itself was inactive, nobody probably did anything. Most of these clans are inactive.
Also, did you meet these clans/players while ingame? Or you just did a clan search? There are thousands of clans... not all can be monitored
i ran into the first clan on the list, they might got warned that there is gonna come trouble to them.

Sofar 1 is gone. Its the mental state wich is accusing me. In a other free to play game there is a straight ban if u use any Nazi related Nic or Clanname. No discussion about that, no matter of the "freedom of speach", they use their right
of declaring house rulez like terms of service.
This particular company is aswell located in the US, so i dont see anz legal conflict into stopping those kind of ppl.
By my experience, they use every platform they can get a hold of to publish their thoughts and spread their "brown poison" around.
It would be nice to find out what in this particular case the official state of z8 is.
I know this is a hot topic, and its controversal discussed, but for me they are
a slap in the face (sorry for any misspelling im not a native english speaker).
I did some research myself on the forums and rules here, but i couldnt find a clear statement.
I thank you for the first reaction on this, hope you guy discuss this topic "behind the scense" and let us know what the outcome is.

It's up to Z8/G4Box. If nothing is happening about it right now, nothing will until there is a huge problem revolving around the topic. -
Its just a game seriously.
If they get banned or not who cares? EDIT: Obv you and some otehrs do.
Ingame they get so much hate and kicks anyway.
BTW: Original map would look more sick. But i understand the point that they removed it to stay out of any people going shenanighans on the forums. -

The people of a certain ethnicity and religion care as I evokes huge feeling in them to see those names. You would not understand.
And all the less mature people would be screaming about it on the forums without bound. -

As I stated before, only one clan had an explicit message regarding hate to Jews. Also stated before, most were inactive, including the one with the hate message.
FYI, G4Box is located in Canada, not the US. I don't know the legal law of Canada, but I do a bit at least with the US Constitution. With the Constitution, the freedom of speech does extend into hate speech, as long as it doesn't defame, have obscenities, incite riots, or fighting words.
This is starting to go into legal stuff here so I'll stop. I'll see if I can get a higher power to close this up with some policy or whatnot. -

I had a friend with the IGN "SupNiqqa?" .. Z8 made him change it. But they take no action about those. Imo, it's not that important since you don't see any of them in game that much. There isn't a nazi force forming on CF. If they were hard trouble, then it would be a different story.

It's time that we stepped in here with some responses.
First off some information. You have sent us 4 tickets on the matter (one of them you manually deleted). These were sent in on the 19th, 20th, and two on the 22nd.
Since you have not given us time to respond to the first one you have now created 3 new issues that our team must solve. While we want to make sure we get to everyone as fast as possible it is very difficult for us to get to everyone quickly when everyone smashes a panic button every time they think we are ignoring their request.
The short answer to this is: You will eventually get a response, please be patient!
Now to the action itself. I would also like to dispell a rumor that "other fps games ban this name." I have just searched 2 other free to play FPS games and found that the name "Waffen" has been used in them as well. So this information may not be as accurate as possible.
Additionally, while offensive names are not tolerated we will CHANGE your name say for example to "badname0124". Continually banning users is not always the answer to every problem. However if this player wants to play under that name then fine we change it and they can continue. Not to mention that the original bad name still gets stored so it can't be used in the future.
It is also very difficult to find and remove every possible offensive name out there. The game has thousands upon thousands of users with different names. And if you search for every name with a replacement '4' or '3' and those variations we'd be changing names until next year and nothing else would get done.
This is why we have a support system, so that when someone takes offense to something we can step in and make a judgment call.
Now to this particular name. No Z8Games does not condone Nazism or the actions taken by the Nazi party in Europe back in those days, or does it condone modern actions by anyone out there. This should be a fairly obvious fact. However some people find the United States Military to be offensive. Don't forget all the bombings and civilian deaths they have caused, or other armies or what have you. The point is, if we had a nickel for every offensive military or historical themed name out there we probably wouldn't have to charge for zp!
Would you want your name changed if you called it Jack the Ripper? Even though he was a murderer, rapist and generally could be considered a horrible human being (despite the case not being closed). Hopefully this can show some of the opposite extreme to this subject.
The waffen division of Germany's army during WW2 has its histories. And some of that may be Historical. Some of it may be intentional. But finding a name and "searching the clan page" for every name possible is not necessarily something we are going to address as a high priority.
You never provided screenshots of any of them saying anything offensive. So as is the case with these kinds of issues it will be the GM handling your case' call as to what the appropriate actions are. These appropriate actions are displayed in our terms, and our support staff will be happy to handle your case, once they get through your other 3 cases on the same issue.
Hopefully this sheds some light into the situation and our position on this particular name/subject/request. -

It's open for discussion and responses.
The TL : DR to the above paragraphs are. Regardless of what we condone or do not condone almost all character names are offensive to someone.
Doing a Clan page search for names you might find offensive is not enough for us to simply change a whole bunch of names and clans.
(example, I just searched World of Warcraft for the name 'Waffen' and got 100 results over multiple servers. This does not mean Blizzard condones Nazism.)
When you submit a ticket regarding this stuff a) don't submit 4 tickets in the span of 2 days and b) provide legitimate evidence of them being offensive in game. -
