It does make sense, you're just too stupid to understand basic logic.

If you have 10 ping, and you get peaked by lets say a 60-90 pinger... You're going to die 100% no matter what. They have such a HUGE ping advantage that it's ridiculous. BUT, you can do the exact same thing to them.

If you have 30-50 ping you still basically get perfect reg (except in the air, because I still don't get good air reg with 10 ping) the peek advantage from every sort of ping is so much lower(10, 20, 30, 60, 70, 80, 90. (90 not so much)).

I've played with all 35, 90, and 9. I prefer 35 EASILY over anything else. People who have 80-90 have the hardest time.

My whole CF screenshot folder is full of us destroying this shiitty defCON "team", just because I know how mad it makes this prepaid preteen. He may say he doesn't get mad when he loses, yet he resets his score every 3 rounds and rages afterwards like...
