Says the guy that would buy a pre-built computer, hihi!
Great, making assumptions, I gave a link to a pre-built because the guy said he didn't want to build a computer you incompetent fuck. If you want a list a of computer parts, listen to someone who actually has built one or knows about computers. (me, limes, muffin, cookz, kek, etc.) Not to this filthy incompetent peasant who is an insult to the human race. -

Essentially building a computer is the best way to go in terms of saving money and power. It is simple to do and nothing to be intimidated by. With 600 dollars just for a RIG (not including a monitor/mouse/etc..) is a good budget. However you will need to find some way of getting an Operating System, there are ways to get it for free (via torrent/burning) or you can buy it for 80-100 dollars, knocking down your budget to 500 (which is still decent).
edit: seriously MIR? what a fucking joke
missing parts also... -

would the prebuilt computer you recommended still be good to get good performence for crossfire and other games like source? I'm not looking for the top of the best, medium budget computer where i have to build it, because i know now thats the best way to go. right now im just looking for something that can perform good for at max two years until i decide to go and upgrade or even start from scratch and build a really good computer. -

I'm going to leave this thread to fallout the IT expert.
Yes people change, but for you to have noticeably changed at LEAST 10-15 years must have passed. You're still a whale man. -

Yeah, those games are pretty easy to run because the engines they use. I would still build one because Intel processors are better than AMD, if you are not looking for a machine to run anything to hardware dependent, then there is really no use for you to buy an i5 2500k processor, the i3 2120 is good enough, (save you 100 dollars), you can keep the same graphics card, 6850 is probably the best card for mid-grade builds ATM, also you don't need a power supply above 600W. -

i think i'll decide just to build one. can you give me a list of computer parts? i can see from recent posts that you are experienced with computers and i think you can give me the best list of parts. and plus you understand the most of where i'm at with what computer i generally want. -
