Don't give your password to anyone
Someone tried to get my password yesterday, much to my dismay.
The story goes, I was recruiting for my clan. Someone wanted to join so I sent the link, he then said it didn't work, nor could he search by the clan name. I thought that was weird. He followed my games and played on my team. I noticed he didn't have any guns. He sent many messages asking me to log in his account and apply to the clan for him. I just said "no I wont log in your acc". Finally he suggested that he log in my acc if I log in his acc. That raised the red flag immediately, so I deleted him from my friend list.
I imagine someone younger might fall for his tricks so I put a thread here.
There are ppl trying to steal your accounts, so keep your password safe, dont tell anyone.

are you sure that they cant steal it?If they know your ID,and PW,they can't steel it,they can't change your PW
because my friend (naive one) did gaved info(without email and security answer) because he wanted badly zps and next day hes account was stolen. -
Thanks for the post. We do have many kids playing this game and it happens all the time. I am the clan leader and I have personally kicked 1 person from my clan for pubing for passwords to other clan members accounts. Unfortunettaly, 3 players did give their password out and lost their characters. The sneak was using the other characters for hacking so he would not lose his main account. Oh well. I just hope kids read this thread.

Actually they can change change pass only if they know your email, even then if they do change it you can request the password be sent to your email via the lost password form and you can change it back.
They can however change your email address and that is where problems start IF they know your security answer or if your CF pass is the same as your email address pass your screwed. -

I certainly think posts like mine can teach other people to be alert at all times.
The more we share the better our awareness.
My account was stolen once with a keylogger that I downloaded unknowingly with a Login Modification (it was a script file, the actually targa files are ok) and I was so disgusted that even after I got it back from Z8 games I didn't want to use it again.
I am going to post a message on my clan page to warn people never give others password. Password is the only thing they need to get your account, not sure how, but these are thieves, they know what they are doing. -

This^^. Especially when the base of the community are younger (12-year old) kids who have no common sense, as well as foreigners who see id and pass and don't even know what to say.

unfortunately if theres already a sticky thread for this, it means some people fall in those traps...
Sticks are too dense with words sometimes. I scan over them but I don't read word by word. Personal stories make stronger impression on people, I am sure you know this.
