Nah, IRC is a very oldskool chat program (now has more features):

It used to be used by quite a few people back in the Subagames times, but nowadays it seems pretty empty apart from the MODs etc.
(if you decide to use mirc, use it in combination with NNscript, quite a good combo). -

Ugh. Seems complicated. Would want to be able to talk to the MODS but because I cannot get on Mumble
