When are you going to fix the wide screen resolutions?

The image attached to this post just shows two images that actually should be the exact same because they are taken from the exact same position, with the same zoom and the same angle.

So what is the problem? I zoomed in and out between both frames and I used 1920x1080 - a wide screen resolution.

For some reason the default zoom changes as soon as you zoom with any weapon. That means you got an disadvantage as soon as you zoomed once until you rejoin the game.

The problem exists for a pretty long time now. Now I got a wide screen monitor and noticed that there is obviously something wrong with it.

Are you going to fix it or should we just note that the highest working resolution for this game will stay 1024x768?

Yes im using the 1680x500 one i thing when i first started I had wide screen easy for head shots now i have 2 black bars its hard for me to aim at the head.

I found out that the bug also appears when you tab out and back into the game. I wonder why no mod looked into this. A quad post should at least get me an infraction.
