Ping Problem

Hi i have a big problem i have an 6000dsl line and i have lan on my pc(new pc) in crossfire is my ping over 100-160 and a frind have a 1000dsl line and a very old laptop with lan and he have an 50-80ping why this. Why is my ping so high.
(answer in german ore english pls)

please help me

A high ping (over 50-100) will cause you to lag in games. Learn simple techniques and tips to reduce your ping and lag.

Tired of seeing your game pause and resume…pause and resume…and so on ? Some games will show you the Ping you have, and if yours is over 100, you’re probably lagging your butt off.

So what causes the ping to go up ? A number of factors:

Where you live and where the game’s original server is located.
Your computer
Your internet
Others open browser windows
Other people using your internet
Other people using the game

So those were the most common factors of a high ping. How can you fix that ?

I can't understand it. Please make it more clearer. I'm not protecting my ego. I don't even have an ego. I didn't even speak against you, I spoke at the guy against you -.- I'm not from the US.
