So you played 1.6 5-8 years before you switched to CS:S when it came out. Cool to know we got somebody in the crossfire community who has played cs since 1999 or 1995 depending on whether it was 5 or 8 years. That's a ton of cs experience, never mind the fact 1.6 wasn't released until Summer 2003. Let's not also forget that the cs mod wasn't created until Summer 1999.
It's good to know you were playing cs back in 1995 when the concept was still an idea in someone's head.
As a competitive team full of cs/css players we would love to play with someone who has your level of experience. Send me a PM with your info so I can get you a tryout ASAP! -
Funny recruitment thread ^^
dooplpk is right, but maybe u can show him that you really played cs that long. Just post a screenshot of your steam profile, which would show him the date you registered there. You probably know that it was able to play without steam in cs 1.5 but not in 1.6
Btw. dooplpk, do you guys play on the UK servers? im looking for a clan right now, as u may have recognized in another thread here ^^ + i really have a good experience since i started with cs 1.5 ages ago

I don't care about his experience. The dude was an ******* and private messaged me to insult me and talk down to me about how I should play a real game when all I did was point out his small mistake. CS:S has been out for about 7 years, will be 8 this fall. No reason for this ****** to talk down to me like some cs bigshot when he doesn't even remember what games he played when.
As for playing UK server. Not to often. Only time we play UK server is to scrim against EU/UK teams. Every since CrossFire-EU was launched, we haven't gotten around to practicing against any of the euros. We are a US crossfire team, not international. Sorry mate. -
Ya, np, thanks for the quick answer!
Looks like the typical 12y old kid who s bored. These guys/kids should stay at cs:s.. That s the reason why i left cs at all.. There re no serious people any more, or well, maybe i just don t see them between all the hackers and ****s ^^
Have a nice day!
edit* almost thinking about to PM you for no reason and send you the lyrics of "look at my horse" because i like your pony ^^ -
Listen kid do you really think im going to tryout for your clan after all that bashing. You seem like a spoiled rich kid who has his head stuck up his @**. If you do your research nerd boy you will find out that after half-life there was a version of counter-strike. When i mentioned CSS i ment counter-strike, i didnt think you would be so ignorant to not be able to understand the concept of what the hell i was trying to say. Its obvious your young and still out try to prove urself in CF. Have you made it far in a tourney and maybe failed HARD CORE? Thats the vibe im getting, you look into to much detail instead of the overall picture.

CS:S was launched towards the end of 2004. So you could of played just over 7 years of source. Could of been a mistake so I mentioned that it wasn't out for 8 years yet. I personally started playing css in early 2006 when a group of friends and myself switched from another game.
Then you insult me via private messages for no apparent reason at all. All I said was "css hasn't been out for 8 years, but good luck in your search". You're the one calling me a kid, yet that comment that I made forced you to insult me?
For someone who claims to have played so much counter strike it strikes me that you wouldn't know the importance of whether you played css or cs1.6. The cs community is pretty divided in their views on the 2 games.
As far as proving myself in CrossFire, I have been on some of the best teams to play crossfire, and have won or placed highly in many events all the way back to open beta when I first started playing.

I could list out all the leagues, lans, and teams I played for cs 1.6 and cs:s, but that is pretty much an irrelevant point as we are talking about crossfire and not counter-strike.
My team LPK will be competing in the upcoming ESG league, as well as any WCG/WEM qualifiers if they decide to host CrossFire again. As for my age, I'm 23 turning 24 this year, but that's besides the point. I could never be as enlightened and experienced as you. I'll never be any good at crossfire.
Oh yea for your information:
Counter-Strike Release Dates
Version 1.0: November 1, 2000
Version 1.1: March 13, 2001
Version 1.3: September 12, 2001
Version 1.4: April 24, 2002
Version 1.5: June 12, 2002
Version 1.6: September 15, 2003
CS:S was released November 1, 2004
There's no way you could of played 1.6 for 5-8 years before switching to source. As that would of put you at 1995 which is before the cs beta was even released. At best the most coherent thing I can get from your jumble of angst and misinformation is that you were meaning to say that you played cs1.6 for 5-8 years and played source as well once it was released. This would make chronological sense as 8 years ago from today cs 1.6 did exist, and 5 years ago from today both versions existed.
If this is the extent of your communication skills, I would hate to see you try to make a call in game.
Good luck with your search, I am sure an experienced veteran of the counter strike franchise like yourself will have no problems joining a "competitive" crossfire team. Making a post in this section would most likely help expedite your search: http://forum.z8games.com/forumdisplay.php?f=60
That is the section for competitive gamers.GM Saidin wrote:Often times Leagues and Pro gaming groups are comprised of people from different clans.
