Switching windows program

CF freezes when I switch to another program. Most of times I have to restart it. Is this the norm.

Switch to windowed mode if you're not using it already. CF doesn't freeze for me in that state.

Yes in windows mode. It blacks out and freezes for a least 20 seconds.

Strange. I don't know what else to suggest; maybe you could try reinstalling CF and seeing if that helps.

its his cpu its being overloaded running crossfire and whatever else then switching it back and forth it happens xD

System:              Windows XP, Vista and 7
Direct X:            9.0c or later
Internet Connection: Cable/DSL or better


Recommended Requirement:
CPU:                 Pentium 4 - 2GHz
Memory:              1GB or Higher
Video Card:          Geforce 6600 or Equivalent class

Specifically, how much RAM is dedicated to Crossfire while it's running? Also, what CPU are you using? You can check with System Information in the Accessories folder on the Start Menu.

I started running crossfire as administer and that helps with windows 7 compatibility.
