Will the flash problem finally be solved ??

Hello everyone

I searched the forum but this problem doesn't seem to have been solved yet.
The thing is, when i get slightly flashed there is no problem.
But when i get heavily flashed the game freezes. Which means that my screen stays white, i can't hear anything, i can't move, i can't aim, ... nothing. It stays like that for 3 seconds and when my game recovers i'm dead most of the time. Because since i'm not moving the others can kill me freely.
This is really annoying, i hope there is a 'cure' for this.
I don't know if everyone has it too, but anyway i'm not the only one. The question has already been asked a few times but i didn't find any answer to this.

My computer is 1.5 years old so hardware isn't a problem.
I recently updated my graphic pilot, so this is also not the problem.

Maybe the problem for Z8 and the devs is HOW to recreate the problem.

Yes a lot of people (including me) have been experiencing this issue. Now if YOU can provide DETAILS, like lots and lots of details... they may be able to recreate the problem enough times to see how to fix it.

Same here... In the middle of the summer break I stopped playing Cross Fire. Then in the winter break, I started playing again, and I realized this problem.. I never had one like this before.. Exactly the same.. When I get slightly falshed, there's no problem, but when I get a heavier one, my screen freezes in the last seconds of the flash effect (when the disappearing effect hasn't started yet) for about 3 seconds, and I can't hear/move/aim/anything ... BUT TeamSpeak doesn't stop working, so it's not the whole PC freezes, just the program/screen. I asked some of my friends, if they have this problem, but none of them has. It can be really annoying. I had this problem on SD and GM maps too, so it doesn't exist only just one type of mode/map.
Some other stuffs (I don't think it would be important tho)
I connect to the internet via WiFi
2x2GhZ Processor 512MB VGA (up to 1791MB) 4GB DDR3 [It's a laptop]

Your friends lied.

We all have this problem, Z8 changed the flash effects to stop movement for a set amount of time a while ago.

And the max duration you're frozen is about 2 seconds.

Btw your character looks funny in 3rd person view when you're in this frozen state

This is intentional. It is meant to simulate the disorientation effect a flashbang has in the real world. This is also one of the reasons I no longer carry a flash with me in my expanded grenade slot. While marginally useful in some situations, most people do not know when to use a flash and tend to just blind their own team at the worst possible time.

Really? I dont think so.. They are my real, close friends.. And anyways there is no reason to lie about sth like that.. They may haven't got flashed like me (which is pretty unbelieveable).. Whatever, I'll try this "bug" on them, in private room. Thanks
