you don't get banned. do you get banned for changing your game sounds or kills marks? no then why would you be banned for something like this.

Yes you do. Altering rez files is a bannable offense.

i've heard many people say its bannable, so before i try it out i need a confirmation that it's allowed

UI are TGA files, just images, the sprays are fine, but the guns skin are REZ files which can get you banned. Some of these REZ files could give some advantage to players once changed, maybe not this Razer skin, but they don't allow to change them at all.

Imagine if we were allowed to change them anytime. People could mod their guns with any skin they want, so reskin would be useless since we could mod it to whatever skin we want. Even if we're the only one to see them.

Also, G4Box don't encourage us to mod our UI files (TGA), but they let us do it.

The gun is bannable, the spray isnt

also dont u need an XTRAP bypass to be able to mod gun skins? Then it definately is bannable.

Changing rez files is not allowed.

but all of those are still located under the rez folder, so im still not seeing the difference

The location of the file(s) isn't what matters, it's the type of file(s) that does.
