Z8Games Xat Chat!
Z8Games first Xat Chat is officially launched!
For about 1 month ago I were visiting a site called xat.com where you can basically is able to create your own chat group for any kind of reason. I've seen several chats where the main subject is about games/sites. And since we have a lot of active peoples here on the forum, I thought I'd start making an own chat for the people here on Z8Games!
So now after around 1 month of effort, the chat is finally finished! I'm so happy to announce this and I really hope this will go all through.
The reason with this chat is that whenever you feel like talking about anything related AND non related stuff about Z8Games, this is the place to go. Remind to keep everything in English, since that is the main language.
Instead of waiting for a reply here at the forum, you will be able to chat about it live with different people from around to the world. Although this chat will be on another kind of community, it will not take all the attention away from Z8Games.com. Because of the daily promotion this chat will have, it will bring new people from xat to our chat. This will lead to that a bunch of people that haven't heard about our community yet, will have the opportunity to register by advertise from this chat. So to clear things up to those that think this is just to get the attention away from Z8Games.com, that is absolutely not my goal in this. The goal is to bring more and new people in to our community, and to create an active place for our members to chat and have fun.
Now when you will have the chance to talk about what ever you want to, there will still be some chat rules that must be respected at any time and which must be followed and read before starting chatting.There are different ranks to obtain at the chat and me myself will have the status as a main owner. This means that I will have the opportunity to promote the people that is trusted and have enough knowledge about the rules. Everything you do and act may effect any further promotion, misbehaving may lead to less chance of getting promoted. I will be known under the name iWerty or Timmy on the chat. I will try to come online at least 8 hours daily, school may cause some inactivity.
If there's something I've missed or something is on your mind, please ask now! I will try to answer any kind of reasonable question.

I only put time in to this to make it more easier for you guys here on the forum to communicate. Instead of sitting and waiting, you can get an instant reply. Don't hate just because you don't like the idea, look from different perspectives.just as useless as irc
just because you throw the word "official" in there doesn't make it any more important. -

the forum isn't suppose to be instant random banter
the whole purpose of a forum is the thread system. which you do not have when using a chat program. there is already a guide for the crossfire irc channel which although isn't official has MODs and GMs in it...
don't tell me to look at it from "different perspectives". this has already been done. THERE HAS BEEN STICKIED GUIDES ON THE SUBJECT.
this community is special, and not in the unique way. -
You know what. I'm just going to ignore this. You have your right to your opinion and you may don't like the idea. Well that's just the total opposite to what this will do. The chat is 100% clean and whenever someone type something that does not belong in the chat, he will immediately get warned by a kick, and if he/she keeps on repeating the same thing, it will eventually lead to a ban. This is all taken care of and by this, the people on the chat will be able to talk about what ever they want to, just by keeping the subject clean. Which is working quite good so far. We're having a bunch of new poeple showing up and it's just so fun to talk with the people here without haveing to write on a forum. (not that the forum is bad, just that it's easier to communicate this way). So please. I'd advise you to all just peek in and see how it all works. This function is new to a lot of you and may think this is a stupid idea, before you even know exactly how it works. Please, I beg you, give it a try!AwolSkaarj wrote: »Doubt it will last. There's more people saying bad things about it than good. The only people saying good things are the owner, a mod whose English is bad, and another forumer who I have no true opinion on. You've got influential people saying it sucks or it won't last. You should put an age limit on the Xat though. 15 and under.

Cheap, childish version of any other chatroom provider. Works good for browser games, roleplaying, trolling/chat raiding(boy those were the days), and a couple other things. Doesn't work well for something like Crossfire. -

Xat is a web page where you can chat, send links , modify your avatar, put a website link on your nickname , if you become MOD or Admin you can ban people and kick from the xat box here a SS:
