Keyboard \ Mouse lagging.

Now this issue only starts once crossfire is running, and its mostly a problem with mouse movements, and sometimes keyboard.

When playing its like my keyboard \ mouse "Lag", keyboard will sometimes stutter in a way when typing, and the mouse "lags" or sometimes just won't work for a second or two. It doesn't seem to be a problem with not being able to run the game because the game is running at 60-100fps, and everything is perfectly smooth 'except' that my keyboard and mouse seem to lag or just stop working for a second constantly when playing Crossfire, this also only happens in crossfire and no other games.

So does anyone know whats going on here? I don't really have any solutions, and crossfire is my favorite out of the mmofps market.

i had this problem and this is how i fixed it

ALT+TAB from the game while it's running, open the task manager and find the proccess crossfire.exe, right click it and set it's priority to below normal or just plain low. (you may need to do this every time you run the game in a earlier version of windows, i have 7)

this game it's not only hungry for money but also pc resources it seems.......

I know this is very annoying.

Thanks for trying to help but that's not actually what it is, as changing my poling rate didn't change anything, and it also wouldn't effect my keyboard.

Tried your solution, and bam. Mouse and keyboard operate perfectly, game continues to run at a good solid 80-100fps, played for over an hour and had no issues.
