I have both. And there are situations I prefer one over the other. The m14's high fire rate and high dmg is great when you need guys to sit the f**k down real fast and you don't have the luxury of finding that headshot. But the Patriot is just awesome all around. Go for the patriot.

+1 for u, I have both too, and somehow I prefer m4a1 s patriot. I just feel I manage this gun is more easier than M14 EBR, I could burst on M14 EBR and I'm sure I did hit on people from 3-5 shot but only 34 HP damage, I don't know why. Otherwise, I use M4A1 s patriot I feel it hard to control recoil than other M4s 1st time, but right now I can manage its recoil about 60%. I go for M4A1 S patriot. But I still love my m14 EBR because it chooses me as its owner. Love u both M14 and M4 pat
