So you want to complain about hackers?
I'm basically making this thread to copy paste from when I see someone complaining about a hacker, or how Z8Games/G4Box handles them. In this thread will be multiple topics for various situations that may be encountered on the forums when somebody is QQing. I'll update this if need be as time goes on and I get more topics to cover.
For a good insight on what G4Box is doing about hackers and how they are handling them, go here and read all of it:

Q. Why doesn't Z8Games IP ban hackers? Banning accounts is not enough.
They do IP ban, and they've been doing so for years. IP bans are very easy to get around, as IPs often change. Static IPs stay the same but can be changed by the user, meaning hackers can just change them themselves. Dynamic IPs are given out by their Internet Service Provider (ISP), and change on their own frequently (often when the computer is off for a certain period of time).
In short, IP bans are next to useless, but done anyways just in case the hacker doesn't realize they can easily get around the IP ban. -
Q. Why doesn't support do anything? I've sent in reports and nobody has gotten banned!
Chances are it's one of 3 things:
1. You haven't waited long enough (the support staff haven't gotten to your ticket yet).
Z8Games gets on average over 500 reports per day on weekends. There is no way for them to go through all the reports that they get, so they have to filter them out to ban the most hackers with the least amount of effort.
2. The person you reported wasn't actually hacking even though you thought they were.
If you aren't sure if the person that you are going to report is hacking, try watching the replay just to make sure they were. Some blatantly obvious hacks are easy to see (speed hacking for example), but some others aren't so obvious. Make sure the person that you report was hacking before you report them, because reviewing reports where the alleged hacker wasn't actually hacking takes up a lot of G4Box's time, when they could be banning real hackers.
Personally, I don't report people that can see through walls unless it's incredibly obvious, because I could be wrong.
3. You filled out the report incorrectly.
Filling out the hacker report correctly is essential in getting G4Box to even look at the replay. As I said above, they apply filters to the reports so as to ban the most amount of hackers in the least amount of time. Getting the name correct is one of the most important things when reporting the hacker, so take the extra minute and look the person you're reporting up on the clan page to ensure that you got the name right.
Example of a report filled out correctly:
*NOTE* Make sure that the name of the replay file (the .cfr) does not have any periods in it aside from the one before the cfr. Some special characters won't work either, so to make sure just use letters and numbers when naming the replay. If you accidentally put a special character or an extra period in the name, just rename the file before uploading it in the report. -
Q. Z8Games sells hacks to make a profit!
No, they don't. That's one of the stupidest arguments that I've ever heard.
First of all, Z8Games is just a portal, G4Box is where the actual manpower comes from.
Second of all, G4Box is constantly fighting against hacks. Smilegate are the developers of Cross Fire, and G4Box are just the publishers for our version. Smilegate keeps a very close eye on what G4Box does, and I can assure you if G4Box was selling hacks, smilegate would know about it, and shut down G4Box, something they obviously don't want. If you don't believe me, perhaps you'll believe [GM]Saidin (and if you don't, you have some issues):
Taken from: http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=195843[GM]Saidin wrote: »"We do not sell or develop hacks." This makes no sense and is a completely ludicrous notion. It's also insulting to our GM team who spends their time each day banning hackers, finding hacks and doing everything described above. -
Q. Why don't they make some players in-game MODs to patrol rooms and ban hackers quickly?
From what I've heard, G4Box has thought of this, but they decided not to (at least for now). I believe the problems would come in for finding people to do this. In case you don't realize it, finding random people across the internet to ban others (who could potentially be a profit to the company) is not the best of ideas.
Ask yourself these questions:
Are random people found across the internet trustworthy?
How would those random people prove 100% that they are trustworthy?
How would you feel if you were doing awesome, let's say going 40/2 in a tdm, and then a MOD comes in, thinks you 1 shot killed him when you and a teammate of yours shot him at the same time, and bans you?
If a player can remake an account incredibly easy (which they can), is there a point in having in-game MODs considering all the risks? -

Now why on earth would they want to trust anybody on the internet? ummm they do trust ppl on the internet. They have MODS. so whay cant ppl that play this game alot be considered for it? We may not post alot on forums but we do play the game alot. If they can trust ppl on the forums then they can trust ppl on game.GodsGunman wrote: »Reserved for future topics..
I think you did more than Double Post here. -
Nod nod.
Or he might want a sticky?
Just tired of having to say the same things over and over again, so now I made this so I can just quote myself for any situation that I come across.
A sticky would be nice, but right now I doubt it has enough situations. -

So that is why you need 20 reserved post,
.
I was wondering what kind of epic sized topic would fill them all. -
You have no "reserved" spots. All you did was spamming the forum with multiple unnecessary posts that nobody asked you to do. If you want to be a MOD, at least try to ACT like you are smart. Not that you would fool anyone, but there is a general possibility which states that ACTING/PRETENDING might have some sort of effect on what other people should think about you. Openly being an idiot by using such a multiple post "scheme" will not do you any good.

Did you even bother to read why hes doing this?
He is making a thread where he has lots of small post about a number of topics so he can quote them later to answer the dozens of threads made by players not informed in any way.
Hes doing it to save himself time from retyping the answer for everyone of those threads by instead quoting this thread for his response. -

When there is already a sticky of it, this thread can soon be buried up.
Even with Saidin's sticky there, player would still complain about the hackers, when they find more hackers than yesterday.
Except some posts with strong language and totally negative statement, I can not find a reason why z8 don't like them. Most of posts just try to urge z8 to fix the issue --- even smilegate is the developer, and xtrap is the one who makes antihack, players can only complain here.
I have a suggestion somewhere about this
1. z8 create a thread with polls
2. poll is about averagely how many hackers are found in a room per week
3. poll is averaged every week/new release, official announcement can be posted about the vote reset, and players can submit new vote again.
4. forumer are suggested to poll and complain in the thread instead of start a new thread every time.
5. plot a chart and display it somewhere to show the average hackers.
Then
players would notice almost each patch, hacker popularity drop
it is good to evaluate the xtrap patch efficiency
and complains will not spread everywhere
And z8 could make more detailed polls to gather more information.

I really like this idea. -
You know what gods ,i respect you and all but i dont think this is really gonna deter those mentally challenged kids who think crossfire is the worst online fps and has the most hacks when the only thing they have ever put their hands on besides crossfire is minesweeper =.=
