New modes and FFA Maps?
Is CF going to keep re-using MM for "new" modes?
Hero Made basically adds to Mutation Mode, and Hero Mode X adds to Hero Mode.
Escape and Zombie are pretty good modes, but i'm just wondering how many times is the same concept is going to be re-used.
As for FFA, why hasn't there been any more maps?
It's the oldest game mode with the least amount of maps.
It's my favorite mode and it saddens me how it's basically just been forgotten.
I know that it's the easiest to hack, but when there isn't a hacker around it can be a pretty enjoyable mode(IMO). I would LOVE to see some new maps.
Plus it would give players a reason to start playing ti again.
Lately it's just been dead.

Over CrossFire's future we will be seeing new modes come into place. And no, they will not be based all off Mutants and Aliens. If you haven't noticed, our trend is usually a new "Mutation" mode around the start of every year, this year kicking if off with a sequel, Hero Mode X.
If this is to continue, who knows. That's up to what the developers think of. There's usually some kind of new mode getting created by the developers while all other versions get the latest mode. If players have good suggestions for regular modes (and not over-common suggestions like CTF) then we can send them and the developers will take it into consideration, however they take what they believe will be popular to the gaming community.
In the end, yes, we will surely soon be seeing more CF modes that are not based only on Mutants/Zombies/Aliens.
As for FFA, we are sure to see more of the SnD (and possibly TDM) in the mode soon. They have been lacking lately and FFA will be getting it's time hopefully. However I do not see any specific FFA only maps coming any time soon. -

Some exclusive maps would be nice, but as long as it were to get more Fa maps, I wouldn't mind.
Most TDM maps are too small, but there are allot of SND tha would be good for FFA.
Or maybe they can just edit maps, like they did for Port in MM. -

Personally, I have been suggesting this for WELL over a year. Here are 5 maps that would be AMAZING for FFA. WITH Vote kick enabled, of course.

Sub Base
Zone 13
I wish we could play ANY mode on ANY map, but that would just be ridiculous. -
I laughed at the way they couldn't even come up with a more original name for the new mode... Hero Mode X? Really?
It's not that there weren't other "creative" names out there, it's that it is the name they wanted. The X is for numerous things, including representing that it is a sequel to the original Hero Mode. X also works for Versus, aka Commandos vs Xeno, and various other reasons. -

Obviously "Extermination Mode" wasn't original enough for the Developers, So they decided to put in "Hero Mode X" instead.
