Who cares if they take your gun...you're dead....let em try it ;)
That's the point of the thread. But seems that the dear forum users keep discussing that simple issue.
  • I agree with the author, I hate when my guns are stolen by noobs

So you die before the "noob", maybe your definition of "noob" is wrong.
  • You died. It's not yours, since you didn't leave a will. Did you leave a will? Then it's nobodies.

By the by, who said you own that gun?

You didn’t create the gun, you don’t have copyright to it and you’re not the only one that owns it. There are probably hundreds of m14s, golden AWMs, maybe even thousands of mausers. Just because you “won” it doesn’t mean it is yours forever. You only “win” the right to spawn with it.

As well as that, in actual battle, you allowed to pick up a gun from a dead man’s body. In fact, it’s encouraged in the army, if you actually want to use the gun because it’s better than what you have. (However, you might not know how to use it, since different guns have different methods of firing; it’s not just point and shoot)

Unless you write to Z8 and the entire gun companies in the world and “buy” the copyright, mechanics and legal documents, you don’t “own” a gun. You burrow the “use” of a gun, which means you can “spawn” with it.
  • Why Do I needa talk 2 u about my problems? I don't have problems, u just gotta stop trolling me. OHHHH u think moderators r gonna have ur back? LOL just stop talking like ur gonna be a mod someday. If ur ever gonna be a mod, I might as well "rage quit" forum.

if you didnt want an opinion from a troll you shouldnt have posted here with a senseless argument

  • u needa learn more manners from ur grandma, ur just another 8 year old ignorant gamer freak. Try going to stealing sh*t like that in real life.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA wow...u really made me laugh. "Ur just another 8 yr old gamer freak" - then what the hell does that make you?

You need to calm down kid, and yes, i did use the word 'kid' because you're getting soooo upset over someone else using your gun after you've died, IN A GAME! Who actually cares if somebody else picks up your gun after you've died?

Advice: Don't die, then others may not take your gun.
    - Don't spend so much money on a f2p game.
    - Don't rage at such a petty little things such as this, it's not the end of the world!
  • Lol why do you care so much? <.<

Anyways you dont really have guns worth stealing for...

I myself only have an MiNiMi XMas worth stealing for and I give it out for people that wanna use it at HMX for example..
  • Claims to be 'self-sufficient'.

    Probably lives with parents.
  • sorry but thats just plain dumb. There is nooo need to get so angry and crazy if someone takes your gun. It's mainly noobs that do it anyway soo they'll be dead soon anyway lmao. OR you just stop dropping your gun since is p*sses you off so much lol

Might not need to noobs. Sometimes you used up your ammo you have to pick whatever gun on the ground, even it is some kind of bull**** that I never used before. I just need guns I am familiar with and can handle. Any other would require me go through another learning curve.

    TO the OP:

Don't drop your gun. If you are killed by the enemy, there is nothing to complain. There are only a small portion of player who are interested in gun pick up. A gun you are familiar weapon might be a lethal weapon, but with some new gun, you might be a cake for the opponents.
  • I've haven't seen such a immature post on these forums for a very long time. Well done!

Why you are killed by noobs?

And one correction, it is not steal, it is rob. So you should say "I hate when my guns are robbed by noobs".

That would explain why you always hate.....
  • After reading some of OP's responses, I think a few memes is in order:

  • There is no such thing as stealing in this game. You get it back at the end of the round and they loose it. So in the broad perspective of things they never steal it. Grow up...seriously.

In world war two I don't think a American soldier wound walk up to a Nazi soldier and say, "Stupid noob, you took my Thomson and that is very nooby of you. I demand that you give it back or drop it." That is what you call a dead American soldier.
  • Some points I'll make.

    1. Classifying the gun as your own weapon.

The weapon is not yours. You did and do not own it. You have no right to tell others not to touch "your" weapon. All items are sole property of the game designers and hosts and affiliates.

You telling other people not to touch your gun violates the terms of use because it's not yours in the first place, and you don't reserve any right to tell others not to touch your weapon.
    Ownership
For all games, properties, titles, and services operating under Z8Games, including but not limited to and without limitation; user accounts, game/computer code, game items/objects, characters, character names, character profile information, clans/guilds and their names, game replays/recordings, art, game assets, music, visual effects, documentation, story, game sounds, chat room transcripts, or anything else provided by our services and games are owned by Z8Games and/or its respective developers and partners. These Games and Services are protected by Canadian and international laws, and may contain certain licensed materials in which Z8Games's licensors may enforce their rights in the event of any violation of this Agreement.

By no means do you own that weapon; nor do you have the right to forbid others from picking up your gun. It's a function that was added so that players can use weapons which they find on the ground which are no longer in use. If the gun's on the ground, it's not yours.

If you died, the gun therefore is an entity of the battlefield. That's why the ability to pull guns out of fellow soldier's hands is not there; once you're holding the gun, it's your own personal entity to use. Once it's on the ground, it's fair game for anybody who wants it.

There are no loopholes around this situation. Once the gun is on the ground from you dropping it intentionally [by pressing "g"] or by automatic reasons [such as death], it's able to be picked up by any other player.

    2. Another player picking up your gun does not affect you.

You will not have to repair a weapon "more" because someone else is using it. Repair costs are calculated by the time the user is using said item [if it's a primary, it's the time that you have that primary weapon out in battle]. If another player is using it because they dropped the other weapon, said dropped weapon will be taking on those repair costs.

Additionally, you will respawn anyways, so technically you'll get your gun back.

    3. People nading you for your gun is not anybody but your own problem.

It's not the game that's killing you for the gun, it's your team. Don't blame us, blame the people you join the room with. The function will not be removed for many reasons. One of which is that picking up guns is a major function in many modes [such as Elimination].

    4. The ability of not dropping your gun will not be added.

For many reasons before, it's not your own gun, and you will drop your gun no matter what, it's not a privilege for others to pick up a weapon on the ground, it's a right.

    5. Earning guns.

You are not earning anything, you are not earning the right to be the only person to use your gun in battle. You simply won the gun / purchased it with coupons to be able to have it when you load up for battle.

You do not own the exclusive rights to your weapon. It does not have your name engraved in it. It is an entity of the game and once it hits the ground, it's an entity of the battlefield and anyone has the right to pick up a gun from the battlefield.
