in CrossFire Off Topic
Ok i beg mods not to move the thread.Even i know its not on the proper place but i just simply want to make sure that people will read this.

As on the name of topic i'm getting this headset:

I know the good part i will pay alot for it and its good for ghost mode but can you guys explain me.Will i get the oportunity to increase my PP and could hear ghost even they arent near me?I know the stats of this headset and i will pay alot for it.But i just want to know if i will invest in good gaming headset to hear ghost from far away.
I will again beg to mods to not remove it.Just till this thread comes near end of page 2.Tyvm.

    nope... theres a limit.. and u can hear it with a 5$ headphones.

    You'll have a few issues.

    1) CrossFire's output is stereo not 5.1.
    2) You need a 5.1 sound card or 5.1 support on your motherboard to use the headset. (Most motherboards have this.)

    yup like the dude above said there is a limit to how far you can hear ghosts breath, cant remember the exact distance myself tho. I think it was 24 metres without b down? Someone can correct me on that if I'm wrong

    But you gotta remember its not just the headphones, your sound card also plays a role in PP too. For example you have seen me play on my main comp and I do a decent job of hearing the ghosts but on the laptop which I've been using to play for the last 2 days I cant hear the ghosts no where near as far using the same pair of headphones.

    Also head phones that have really good bass are actually bad for GM unless the you can adjust the bass via an EQ or on board settings (I see the headphones you linked have some volume settings but I didnt read it fully) Bass will just pump up the sound of guns really which is what you dont want :/

    Dunno if my wall of text helped any xD But GL with the new headphones :P

    well mostly my headset what i have its not even close for pinpoint.even i can hear breath its like confusion in it.(i hear ghost but its not even close where i can hear breath)
    So i'm thinking my headset is abit broken.

    iPhone?Well they all say now that iPhone is bad because its easy to hack even trough the internet.I will never buy it.Because if you have there written on the phone hackers can use it and that would be a bad thing.So i suggest you to sell that phone,it will not bring you anything good (also plus i heard if you have contract with that cellphone that they can use your number and you can get big bill to pay)Thats what i heard.

    im pretty sure he was just referring to the generic apple in-ear headphones, not the phone itself...

    and not everything you hear it true...you do know that right...?

    it's easier to hack a badly protected pc than anything else (and by badly protected i mean the person in charge, you can have all the anti-virus stuff you want, but you click on a stupid thing//dl a stupid file, and you're screwing yourself up.)

    My guess would be that the clarity may be better, as in, you might be able to distinguish between the different breaths of different ghosts instead of it being one jumbled mess. Your accuracy in locating them may also increase. But the distance when you hear breath will stay the same.

    if you are just playing cf any 10$ headset will do just fine. spending more is a waste
    unless you`re using it for other games which support surround sound.

    atm i play bf3,cf,nfs and assassins creed.So i think that will be good.
    @natnat yes i know that.But i just say that even i love iphone because its awesome its easy hackble.Which i dont like it ;(
