Why does z8Games have an email list if it doesn't USE it?
It sure would have been nice to have known about this patch. I have 19 ribbons and only need one more for the crystal, but shockingly, I was busy during the week days and didn't sign on- but you bet your account I would have found the time if they had bothered to use the email list. Come on guys, use your email list. Not all of us have time to sign in every single day with bosses breathing down our necks or spend our time looking at social networking sites- some of us have work to do and depend on companies to send notices when they they have a new service to offer.

When you sign up for CF, there's an option to "want to receive the Z8Games newsletter and special Promotions via Email." My guess is that they would send emails about patches if you had this option checked upon registration.
Anyway, it's not hard to check the website every now and then. -

I wouldn't be asking the question if I didn't have that checked, and I've received emails before; I haven't received them the last couple patches, and intermittently before that. And yes, I checked the spam filter.

Well, my recommendation is to just check maybe twice a week (maybe Monday and Thursday). But you're right, they should send out emails regarding patches if they're not doing so already as you've pointed out. -
There's a lot of reasons to why they need an email; one of them is so they can send you information about your account to you via an email. Like when you lost your password, if you hit the "forgot your password?" button (or whatever its called), you'll recieve your password, security question and answer in an email to the email address you registered with.
As stated earlier in the thread, I believe they sent some emails sometime. I can't remember because I haven't seen any of them in awhile. -

I missed the Ribbon too but its not their fault.
They cant handle everything for every Player.

It's their game, getting the news out about their game is their responsibility. That means making an cogent announcement in a timely manner to their customers, not half assed and/or late.I missed the Ribbon too but its not their fault.
