Gods is getting popular, xD
So yeah, someone told me that VTC (CF Vietnam publisher) used GodsGunman's informations about M4A1 Patriot in their patch preview. Since they are getting it their next patch. Here's a screenshot:

GodsGunman's thread:
Edit: I know it's from another version, but it's only the M4-Patriot & vietnamese texts,

Gods needs to do something about this.
Theres nothing he can do.. its not like his guide is copy righted and even if it was there is no proof that they simply copy and pasted it all they would say is that they went in game and got the stats themselves.... after all the guns are the same so its believable that they would of got the same results lol. -

But in this case, it's obviously copy/paste. Also, we're talking about the publisher of CF Vietnam: VTC, :P
But yeah, I guess he can't do anything about this, :P Except being happy that many people use his informations, but he might be angry because they don't gives credits to him. -

He won't be angry, disappointed but not angry.
He'd mostly likely approve.
The whole reason for starting the guide was to get 100% factual information on the weapons in CF. Even tho CF has been around for few years there was a massive lack of solid information about it.
The guides purpose is give players information about the guns in the game so they can make purchasing decisions. Before one had to find a player ingame that had the gun and pick it up when they drop it to get any idea about it. Rarely enough time to get to know the weapon and usually angered the other player that dropped it.
The fact they are using the info for its intended purpose means our main goal is being accomplished.
He only be angry if they have information incorrect in it. -
They should have said we copied and pasted this from CF NA Player: GodsGunman

They wouldn't do that, it makes them look incompetent in front of their players.
The fact they needed to get information from a player that is in another version of CF won't look good for them.
Reread it. I said the goal is to GET 100% accurate info, didn't say we had 100% accurate info.[MOD]Talonblaze wrote: »Almost 100%. -

Never said you did, but getting 100% is near impossible and Gods has already said he doesn't want to go to more trouble than necessary. So he will likely not be 100% nor ever likely come close. -

A impossible goal? EVEN BETTER!
Striving for the impossible is one of the best ways to improve.
Because one will always be working towards a goal they will never get, they will continue to improve. Once one achieves a goal they usually stop improving. -

Agreed. This can be applied to any sort of learning or method of gain, be it knowledge or otherwise. I think there was a few quotes by Einstein on such. -
It's kind of annoying honestly, even though they're using my information to get the word out (which is a good thing), it's common courtesy to give credit where credit is due. A link to the weapons guide or my reviews would have been nice, just so they didn't get credit for work that isn't theirs.
They're essentially lying, and I can't stand liars. -

Please send them a strongly worded email. It would give me something relatively enjoyable to read.

Maybe send them a PM to give credit? It's kinda obvious they did so, they can't really deny it. It's not hard to simply say;

I can't register on their forums for some reason, it gives me a 404 error when I try to register, possibly because of my IP which is in Canada. -

Maybe you could get Simrock to do it for you, assuming he has the Vietnamese version of CF, which I think he does.
