MY account got hacked without doing anything
i wonder why z8 dosen't trust us. I mean alot of hacker(Brs) have been trying to hack this game for many years. But i just dont know why they have to steal accounts. They change your password and your email, its just ridiculous
BTW, Gm, can i help me recover my old account( Dec_17) which haven't played for 2 weeks! -

People don't get hacked out of the blue. -

Must give as much evidence as possible that it is your account.
Account name (not the IGN)
Previous passwords.
Registered Email.
Credit/Debit Card number used to by ZP if any.
The Day you made the account.
Answer to security question.
with enough info about your account send you should be able to get it back.
Now with that out of the way, I need to yell at you.
There are only 3 ways to get your account stolen.
1. You gave out your information either to share/trade/sell your account. (And if it was trade or sell, it means you are right now trying to get it back after giving it away)
2. You downloaded something that had a keylogger on it. But the only ones interested in CF accounts would be hacks for CF. (Most keyloggers are more interested in bank accounts).
3. You made your account name and password incredibly easy to guess. (Having the password be password)
Since 2 of these means you are a idiot and the 3rd means you tried to cheat, I don't think you should be able to get it back. If you don't get it back, think of it as punishment for your actions. -

no body can change their pass without their Email if i remember correctly...so how did he changed your pass? -
I think it was of the couple MODs I downloaded contained something, either the Login MOD or the User Interface MOD.
The hacker changed my password in the last hour when I was logged in.
How did he guess my security answer. The security question was "What was the maker of your first car?"
Let see, how many car companies here?
My first car should have been Skoda. No one will guess that.
What can he do with my account?

I think Z8 should send me a TEXT to my cell. If I reply with yes then go ahead and change my password. But it might not work with international users.
What other ways Z8 can prevent unauthorized log in.
It is mostly my fault.
Also I head it takes a long time to recover my account. I won't be able to finish tomorrow's event to get the ribbon. -

I'm starting to suspect that you just answered questions about your account.
Some security tips.

How many car manufacturers are there out there? Only about 6 major ones in the USA and about a dozen or so worldwide. All he/she had to do was guess intill he got the answer.
Make your security question unrelated to the answer.
That way its nearly impossible to guess because the question throws them off of what the answer is.
If it was a keylogger then that means your Anti-spyware/virus protection isn't up to date or is insufficient and should be updated or replaced. -

I have like 4 different anti virus and 2 firewall systems. They are all up to date as today.
I scanned all of my downloads, usually it is automatic detected if there is something like a trojan.
So it must be within the MODs that is not detectable.
What can he possibly do with my account? I have like 2400 zp, and 10,000 gp. -

I went to some hacker site like a year ago.
It just changed my password of my account, i've send many supports but never got it back
Why did not they give it back to you? What did they say?
I am a paying customer. I hope they do help me on this. -
