game freezing while in game

so my freind has this problem, he joins a map and while in game it freezes for a few seconds and the screen turns black and then nothing happens, he needs to hit ctr+alt+delete and has to end the game. and also i dont think he has microsoft framework installed, is that important? have any idea what could be the problem?

I get the same problem but mine my one freezzez but not me poeple freezez but i get to move for 10 secs and after 10 secs i freeze and then i have to press ctrl+alt+delete so my thing can open to exit crossfire. This all started when crossfire moved to z8 games :l

use gamebooster and don't click background or w/e
