Non-stop crashfest!
I am getting a little ticked off now.
The problem:
-Get on CF
-Computer crashes(No error message or anything, just black screen)
-Restart
-Not even a minute after it restarts, it crashes again
-2nd time it doesn't restart and the monitor just goes to sleep
-Have to hold down power button to turn off computer
-HAVE to wait a few minutes before I can restart or else the monitor goes back to sleep again
-Computer finally turns back on and starts working normal again
What I have tried:
-Scanned multiple times with Malwarebytes and Avast
-Added Z8games folder from program files into Avast Exceptions
-Upgraded Graphics card and Realtek Audio to the latest drivers
Extra Information:
-It only happens when I try and play CF
-I don't have any other programs running while playing CF
-I just recently downgraded from Vista to Windows XP Pro(FPS are way better now).
-Before, when I still had vista, I would often get a BSOD from XDVannn.sys(which google tells me is part of X-Trap). So MAYBE it's similar?
I don't get the BSOD, but it does crash a lot. The error message it would give me telling me it was from XDVannn.sys doesn't show up on XP since the computer crashes right after it restarts.
Questions:
What other drivers are essential and should I check to see if they are fully updated?
I haven't re-installed yet, I will try that soon, but first I want to know if it will help at all.
Screenshot of my processes running when this happens:

Ignore the chromes(I just had Google Chrome open when I took the SS, but always close it when I start CF)

Off-topic: was it necessary to break borders with the large picture? 800 X 600 (15 in.) is just fine. If you were covering up your desktop, you could have done a simple cut job in paint to only display the relevant image.
On-topic: Have done a check of your processor's drivers? What are your computer specs?
So just to clarify, you've always experienced a crash within both OS's? -
UM.. update every driver not just 2.
And i suggest you completly delete it and then download a new version. Reinstall doesnt work many times but redownloading does
Dont really know what else.
I've never done mass updating before, so how would I go about doing that?Off-topic: was it necessary to break borders with the large picture? 800 X 600 (15 in.) is just fine. If you were covering up your desktop, you could have done a simple cut job in paint to only display the relevant image.

I had 800x600, but the processes were barely noticeable, had to bump it up.
Yeah I should have re-sized.
The crashes with vista didn't occur until a couple of months(or less) ago, and it was always due to XDVannn.sys. In Vista they weren't as common, but they were around once or twice a week(or so I remember, memory is a bit fuzzy on that), with XP they are 100% of the time I play CF. -
With mass-updating, the easiest way is with windows update.
Next best thing I'd do is to look in each of the manufactuter's websites for new drivers.
I know that intel and nVidia have tools that scan your system to do a customized search, I believe it would work best within IE.
Also, waiting on your computer specs. -

Just went trough all my hardware in Computer>Manage, and it seems everything was up to date except monitors, which I doubt are the problem.
Even used this: http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us No updates were available.
So it seems I'm updated. -
Graphics card specs? (Found under Components, then Display)
How old is your computer? Is it overheating when it crashes?
Also:
Minimum Requirement :
CPU
Pentium 4 - 1.5GHz
MEMORY
512mb
VIDEO CARD
GeForce 5600
or equivalent class
HARD DISK
1.2GB
SYSTEM
Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7
DIRECT X
9.0 C or later
INTERNET CONNECTION
Cable/DSL or better
Seeing the picture of your physical memory, is it usually around 370ish MB for RAM to play around with? -

This?:
* Accelerator Information *
Accelerator in Use:Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family
Video BIOS: 1295
Current Graphics Mode:1440 by 900 True Color (60 Hz)
PC is about 3-4 years old, not overheating.
I haven't tested it thoroughly yet, but it seems to crash during the day more.
Last night I was playing a few games crash free.
The crashing usually happens around 3-5.
Maybe it's just coincidence. -

Just screenshot the screen like you did previously for the Summary screen.
Here's the steps on how to get there:
