Ok i just downloaded ventrilo v 3.0.5...How do i set it work for crossfire?

first of all, u need to have a server... most clans have one... once u have server info u can input that and then talk to others on the server........ Vent will just run in the background while u play.....

LOLS... xfire is fail at voice chat... It can barely support 2 people in one room before failing hard... vent, as long as your server has good bandwidth is superior... I love xfire for all things but voice chat.

vent is nice if you pay for it, or have less than 8 members.
my clan uses teamspeak and it works great.
the server is freea and you can have as many clients connected at once as your network can handle.

Get the Hostname/IP
Then put the Password (if there is one)
Get the Port (####)

Save

Make an ID for Vent.

Connect to Server.

Hold 'CTRL' to talk.
Edit hotkey's.

Xfire is better than vent in my opinion.
