How Do I Respond to a z8 Support ticket like this?
Okay so 5 days ago i sent a support ticket to z8 about my main cf account being hacked and i cant even access it anymore. I sent a support ticket containing all sorts of information to prove my ownership (things like IP Address from date of creation, some replays, ect.) I recieved the following reply:
"Recently we have found evidence which proves this account was using malicious software within Cross Fire. This is against our terms and conditions and a 3 day ban has been placed on this account.
We are unable to provide you any assistance with account related issues during the duration of your ban. We apologize for this inconvenience but ask for your understanding as we are trying to maintain the quality of our game."
Well that was a "wtf" moment. I just told these guys i was hacked and lost my account weeks ago and they think the hack was b/c of me....How do i respond to this? I'm new at using the support ticket so any help would be great. Do i just sent a new support ticket? >_<"

You didnt get 'hacked' You either willingly gave your info away to someone or you downloaded something that gave you a key logger (a hack for example)
That being said your account got banned for hacking and z8 have stated they cannot do anything for you until the ban is over, they have no solid proof that the person hacking on your account wasnt you so that is fair.
So wait until the account is unbanned and send another ticket in when they will gladly help you. -

Wait 3 days, then send in another ticket regarding your lost account. -
First detection, not necessarily a cheat, any number of reasons.LMAO. Proof right there they don't give permanent bans. 3 day bans, WOOT!
Bans become permanent bans pretty fast if the cheaters keep cheating.
Some people are just too ignorant to do the 1+1 math. -

It should be noted that telling us you "lost" your account does not give the account free reign to hack in our game.
The account, and it's subsequent security is your own responsibility. We cannot keep track of when you "lose" an account.
Accounts do not get hacked. Time and time again we reiterate this fact.
You either gave the information away to a specific player, either through friendship or through a clan or some other form of communication. Or you gave your account information away unwillingly, through a scam site or scam operation. Or your account information was received via some sort of account trade or purchase (which is against the rules). Or you had some sort of software or malicious program on your computer which keylogged your keys to send to some other person. (keyloggers of this type btw are generally only associated with hacks)
The fact remains that we, as the company in charge have to maintain some integrity on the game. If we see an account hacking in game we have to punish it. In this case, it was picked up on the auto ban system. And since this is a few ban, it was for 3 days.
We are very sorry to hear that this was a first time offense on your account, and that you likely may not have had anything to do with the hacking incident. However, somehow from the day you made your account to today someone else has gotten a hold of the login and password for it. Logged on and subsequently hacked.
Since we, as an internet based company have very little to go on we have to take full actions against the account. And therefore the ban is set and will stay as such.
Now having said that, an advantage of the autoban system in this situation is that it gives you a moment to be honest about your account and a chance for redemption.
My suggestion would be to admit the truth, yes someone knew the login or had access to the secure information on the account and that it was changed. And because of that you need to change the info back to something that only you know.
And you can do that process by going through support. Proving the account was yours to begin with, and then changing ALL pieces of information on the account (password, security question and email). Without any of that information the hacker who got the account banned will not be able to log in and you should be perfectly secure for the future. -

How the fook do you just 'lose' an account????
Like previously said, you must have stupidly given your account details to a third party or that you have tried to download malicious software!
If your computer was clean of any type of malicious game software, then this would never of happened. I've had my account since CF began, my computer clean, account clean & never cheated. I've never had a ban of any sort and won't get one either.
Advice: DON'T download game modding software
DON'T give out your account details (to friends or for personal gain)
&
DON'T go to bed with itchy bum..........you wake up with smelly finger! -

This doesn't mean they think it was you, they're telling you that whoever hacked your account, was also hacking in game, meaning that while the ban is issued, they cannot do anything about it. -

How he most likley 'lost' his account- Shared account info with a "friend" (most common)
- He left his PC Unattended whilst being team viewd, the person found his login/pw in a notepad file on the computer (without sq/email) he then logged into the site and found his previous information in a support ticket/updated info (delated the support tickets and copy'd the info somewhere on his pc
- He enterd his information to an account phisher
- His email password was very weak (never happens but could lol)

Not true, as you can see his temp banned meaning his banned by the "autoban system". Z8 Games do permanently ban accounts (dosnt matter about the rank/how much zp they brought) ..If you disagree and are 100% sure that z8games do not permanently ban accounts leave me a pm with your main accounts information. -

Thanks but what I mean is the report result page. I used to have a flashing button looking like a mail there, when I click it, I can see all the reports I submitted before and the z8 response. I can no longer see it.

Okay i'll admit it. I take full responsibility for being stupid enough for falling for a scam...
And now consequetially i no longer have access over my account... thanks for those who helped me out with some advice. I sent another support ticket that was much clearer on my situation telling everything. For sure the ban out on the account has been lifted since the ticket sent to me on the 29th and it was only a 3 day ban. After sending another support ticket i recieved the same-ish reply just today:
"Recently we have found evidence which proves this account was using malicious software within Cross Fire. This is against our terms and conditions and a ban has been placed on this account.
We are unable to provide you any assistance on account related issues in the duration of ban."
I really dont know wat do to anymore....

ok do you still know your security answer and other information? If so just change your info and it is all fine... Yeah you got the ban for falling for a scam, you have learnt you lesson dont be doing it again. Anyone that offers free zp or claims to be a GM are scammers. No one should ask you for your account information outside of z8 support.
I hope you can change your info but if not then there is no one to blame but yourself really
