Examples on how to properly file a bug report on this board

READ THE ENTIRE POST.

Since apparently the Devs can't figure things out on their own (or they can't recreate the problem...which I doubt), we're going to have to give them some information to 'help them along' so they can deal with this BS of a headache and we can get back to attempting to play the game.

How to submit information
USE MY EXAMPLE AS A TEMPLATE OR :
You can either look through your computer and manually find all the information by using System Info, or you can use a system information utility such as PC Wizard 2010 (yes, it's clean) and get the info from that. Such programs also have benchmarking tools to see where your computer is having performance issues as well.

(NOTE : PC Wizard 2010 asks if you want to install a toolbar for "ASK" while installing. It is 100% optional, so don't come around here crying "OMG ADWARE" when you don't uncheck the 3 checkboxes that appear on the installation window...learn how to read and follow directions. The program doesn't nag you about it if you don't install it.)

Post any experiences in GREAT DETAIL and/or any screenshots you may have taken of the problem and post them after your system information.

============ EXAMPLE (My system) ============

=== Using "PC Wizard 2010" ===

Platform : AMD Tigris
Mainboard : HP 363F
Chipset : AMD 785GX
Processor : AMD Athlon II M320 @ 2100MHz
Physical Memory : 3072MBDDR2-SDRAM
Video Card : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series
Hard Disk : Hitachi HTS725025A9A364 ATA Device (250GB)
DVD-Rom Drive : Optiarc DVD RW AD-7583S
Monitor Type : SAMSUNG - 15 inches
Network Card : Atheros Communications AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCIe)
Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8101 PCIe Fast Ethernet Adapter
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional Media Center 6.01.7601 Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
DirectX : Version 11.00
Windows Performance Index :3.2 on 7.9 (Yeah...yuck. Blame the Gfx card that get's and average of 50-60FPS while playing CF...)

In-game Resolution :
Server : Alpha (All channels), Bravo (All channels), Charlie (All channels)
Maps occurring on: approx. 1/5 of map loads across all maps (and 99% of the time during Z8Games "Commandos Program" event on "Orbital Station" with 1% being allowed to join with a mysterious error that forces user back to Room Selection lobby before error message is displayed).

Symptoms :
1) Before loading starts, screen f******s 2-4 times before loading screen starts.
2) Loading screen loads to approx. 85-95%.
3) Loading stops. Moving the mouse across the screen at this time reveals that certain "hover" elements of the game lobby appear through the loading screen (player badges, "daily challenge" button).
4) After approx. 140 seconds, the Game Room selection lobby is displayed WITHOUT the window returning to it's proper resolution.
5) Attempts to re-enter the room will result in a "Can't enter room" message. Usually, the game never fully starts as other players also experience this error. If the room remains alive, when 1 player is left (when the game room has stopped) players who encountered the "Can't enter room" may enter the room again, but will still get the screen loading freeze and repeat of #1 - #5 listed here.

ALSO, once you submit your information in the thread (or in the case on of the power-grubbing MODs decided to close it...), post your ENTIRE POST in a ticket to Z8...

    I've noticed it mainly happens when I'm trying to load the same time a couple of other people are.

    Thanks. I don't know if it should be sticked, but if you wanna make a stickied thread with our information posts (scrub the other posts) migrated, feel free to do so.

    Sticky granted. This will be used to display a proper way on reporting a bug/error on tech support.
