I assume you have an AWM in your bag 1...
This bug is already quite old and only occurs if the main weapon in bag 1 has less ammo/clip than the main weapon in bag 2. The primary in bag 2 will start with the same ammo in its first clip as the primary in bag 1 has.
Switch to a pistol/knife before switching to bag 2 or place the weapon with less ammo in bag 2. Both options prevent the bug.
If you switched without doing either, just switch back to bag 1, select the pistol and switch back to bag 2. -

hmm. never knew this happened. it switches to pistol first anyway when i change to bag 2.. then bam. 5/#. so all i gotta do is change the awm back to bag 2? (changed it to bag one because tired of joining game and having to switch.. -

Yes, that will solve it. How can you be tired of switching it? All you have to do as soon as you spawn is press B then the number 2. -

That it switches to pistol when selecting bag 2 is "normal" I guess. It is not a problem anyway. And yes, putting the AWM in bag 2 solves the problem. And switching from bag 2 to bag 1 never triggers the ammo bug, so you should be fine. -

Basically if you have an awm (not sure if all snipers cause the bug) in your first bag, sometimes when you switch to a different bag you'll have 5 (or 10 depending on if it's an adv sniper) bullets in your clip. -

It's all guns with less ammo cap than the gun in the 2nd bag.
