Something for all of you.
Everyone, what you fail to realize is that you're not the only ones reporting hackers. Day by day, XTRAP (NOT the GMs) is flooded with hack reports. It usually takes a while for them to sort through all of them and they get to them as fast as they can. But if everyone who's playing the game reports three or four hackers a day then there'd be millions of reports flooding in during that twenty four hour period! Xtrap is not an unlimited resource. Computers and humans can only work so fast but they're working their tails off to try and help clean this game up as fast as possible. Plus there are all the whiny little cry babies that go and report anyone who kills them, hacker or not so then there's even MORE reports going in. If Xtrap has one million employees (which I'm fairly certain they don't) they'd have to watch through 4+ replays a day. Granted it may not seem like a lot but they also have to factor in every possible problem including Ping, Computer speed, range of weapons and so on. They have to rewind and frame by frame some replays just to see if someone got a tad bit glitchy or someone lagged more than a half a second. Another thing, reporting is like a court. They need to look over evidence, explain to themselves and possibly team members every possible scenario and come to a definitive decision before they can act. So you should be happy they're getting rid of all of the hackers they are, not whining about the one's they're working their tails off to get. I'm not trying to be a jerk and that's not who I am but it seems like this is the only way people will understand.

You're welcome.
OT: the auto-detection system works fine in my opinion. The thing is, people don't realize that the hacker who gets caught can get caught on the same day as they played. So when somebody checks out their profile, it shows them as a last play date of today (for example).
But the trade-off is that the hacker only has had 5 minutes to play before being detected again and banned. Then 3 months later or whatever the case... another 5 minutes.
People make bad assumptions sometimes. -

I think that it would help xtrap on not getting raged at is by having a ban list by xtrap so people actually see who gets banned and how many ppl get banned a day. But i guess i know i know, z8 doesn't really want to do that. -

Would only serve to have people ridicule and inflame on those who would be on the list. We had it once, and it didn't work well at all as people kept on checking it 24/7 for a report that they would submit 5 minutes ago.
It didn't work at all.
And for the statistics, it's their decision, and they decided not to for the time being. -

Yeah I kind of wish they had a wall of shame showing why and how long that person is banned. It would also be fun counting how many names with
are on the list too. lol -

Again, having this ban list or wall of shame only leads to flaming; plus the fact you are being discriminatory by implying that all Brazilians hack further exemplifies what I mean when it leads to flaming.
This conversation is on Xtrap and how it works. NOT on implementing a ban list. Drop that topic. -
or maybe they hidding they true face.i saw many hackers first they play cool like playing normaly if they near to win(lets say if result is 4-4) they use kick vote by kicking top player and he kill all of the enemys with autoaim.DerMaimensch wrote: »Yea it is.Rarely find a hacker now.
ironic isnt it?
but xtrap is easy to bypass.Thats how it works.I think we could have 90% hack free game if we could get nprotect and ingame report.People would be happy.people would less hackusate,it would bring game to whole new level and after all people will be happy.
Then devs could focus only on game bugs, crashes and etc -

I've been looking over my screenshots of scores over the past 4 months and found something quite odd.
In nearly every screenshot the average Rank was less then Staff Sergeant.
It only takes 17,000+ EXP to reach Staff Sergeant. At a average EXP per day of 2,000 it should only take 10 days to reach.
The average rank should be much higher then that. Over a 4 month period, 123 days, the average player starting back then should have 246,000 EXP which is in the Master Sergeant ranks. Yet anything higher then Staff Sergeant is rare.
But the average always stays just below Staff Sergeant. This implies a couple things.
Either:
1. Players are quitting as fast as new players join before reaching Staff Sergeant.
Or:
2. Players are losing their accounts before reaching Staff Sergeant and make new ones.
Since many of the low ranks hack accuse and say specific types of hacks that aren't called the same in other games. This implies that the average low rank player ISN'T new to the game.
Since most low ranks aren't new to the game this eliminates possibility 1 from being likely.
Leaving possibility 2.
Now the question is, how do so many players lose their accounts, and why make new ones?
Another interesting thing I notice is, after a patch from X-trap we are flooded with low ranks for a few days. What does X-trap do? It bans accounts that it catches cheating.
Since most low ranks show knowledge about CF that wouldn't be common elsewhere, the average rank plummets after a X-trap patch, and it is very rare to see higher ranks then Master Sergeant. One can conclude that the average low rank has cheated in the past.
Now since the majority of players in Alpha are Low rank, have high ping, and use Portuguese words and slang. It obvious where most of the players are from. (Only 2 countries use Portuguese as a main language) And with this observed data, one can conclude that most of them have at least tried hacking in the past.
By my estimates, only 10-20% of low rank accounts are new to the game.
The rest are players that lost their old accounts somehow, mostly likely for cheating.
