theres a problem with x.trap update... maybe ur internet connection or anti-virus is interfering... i think that re-dowload the game would fix it, cause x-trap is attatched. happened to me once, a long time ago and i fixed like that... not sure if its the best way...

yes the game dont start this is europe problem and my NA crossfire problem is a error

Angry Tired of re-downloading CF, still won't launch

I have over the past 3 months downloaded CF at least 20 time, sometimes due to an error. However this time I'm not, if it does not launch. Truthfully the prob started with GB 3, it worked fine first 3 times, but now try what I may it will not launch. I even tried without GB 3, I removed GB 3 from add/remove & re-downloaded CF but to no effect .Someone suggested I move my CF_G4 file to GB 3 but to no effect. I an tired of downloading CF...unless someone comes up with an answer CF would loose s big fan.

I forgot to mention I also have IObit Mal aware Fighter & IObit Smart defrag. although I can shut all the feature of the Malaware I cannot of the defrag & i think it should not matter. I also had the usual error messagages with free Avast (not now) best is to simply disable Avast for an hour......pls still waiting...I have re downloaded GamaBooster3

P.S sorry I can't post own message due to usual prob with CF so posted under urs hope someone can help &....................soon

Its the firewall/antivirus stuff, happened to me today and i just turn it off for 15 minutes, then i can play the game, well it worked for me and i had the same "xtrap timing out" problem

Okaay...Kidd....Mahaps u can help. After downloading Game Booster 3 it launcched CF2/3 times & after that it launches all other games except CF Even redownloading did not help using BG seperately..even then it did not launch....I finall removed GB still not launching....again redownloaded CF still not launching ...it reaches the START pg then nothing happens ...nothing shows on Task Manager too........if u do bother to reply "Kidd" (i'm unfamiliar with the forums pgs.... so if u could send the reply to me account "lizz1960"

GB is fine i think I used it 3/4 times before it stopped working about the time I downloaded IObit Malaware & defrag ...did u do something similar? Besides u don't have to use GB . u can even configure &lessen programs in Task Manager & launch it on its own without GB

should I delete Iobit Malaware & dafrag aas the probs started around that time ...or re-download CF for 100th time...value ur advice
