How to use Thompson?

I won Thomson last night, u can see my previous thread.
I want to hear this from a pro Thompson player
HOW TO USE THOMPSON PROPERLY??
I used Thompson for the first time and I got a multi kill LOL but afterwards I barely get any kills.
The recoil seems really high and damage is low :O
Any tips of controlling recoil? I think the best way to kill an enemy is to have all shots in, same with all SMGs.

Recoil is weird (really awesome imo) and Damage is low.
just spray it and if you see it just starts to move so much stop and spray again.
try to avoid long distance maps.
or try to burst each 6 bullets.
its beast in close combat.

thompson has high recoil and is hard to use?lol.if u want to use it as ur main weapon,never,NEVER use it in gm,it's annoying.spray at close and middle range.burst at big range.(6-8 shots).but imo,it's a **** gun.

You should teach your 2 spamming fail mates to spray you know? they did really bad.
as an exception at Sub Base, i don't remember the name of that guy who carried all the match.

i fire in burst and aim towards the stomach in five to six round bursts, i never try for head shots directly if they happen they happen, try to get those bullets in the largest target area, and stay pretty much in the mid range, sometimes i send some bullets long range for laughs.

Get really close
Aim in the center of the group you are shooting at
Hold down the button
Best thing is if you get them in a narrow corridor or in a tight corner , they are screwed
Bursting is useless since hte hs accuracy is bollocks

spray the wall to see the spray pattern first then if it shoots straight up aim feet etc but like all spray guns they fail long distance, for a main gun go for an all rounder or capitalise on your sstrengths in game as smg obviosly aint.

Thompson is beast if you use it correctly.

You can waste your time and spray low but spraying neck height rocks.

Always try to line up your opponents as close behind exh other as possible. Spray neck head height. If there are a few enemies spray back and forth like you where watering a garden. The hits from the gun are enough to stop enemies from locking on you.

extra clip of bullets from item shop really helps alot too.

Fun gun to use once its comfortable.

Thompson was made for MM/HM/ZM
You should be mainly using it for those modes and not TDM

spray like nuts in close range, and try to control the minimum recoil
at long range, get closer or if you have to aim for the upper chest, bound for headshots
