Allow me to join my friend's passworded room without input password

If players inside my friend list is hosting a passworded room, I should be able to join the room without password.

An even better idea is to differentiate the strictly passworded room and an open to friends room.

This will save lots of effort to acquire password.

Moreover, if two clans have friendly relationship between each other, the clan member can also join without password when one of them is hosting.

We also need a way to request an invitation to a room to the host if he is not in the friend list. Currently because we are not able to join the room, I don't even know to whom I should whisper.

If invited, we should not need to be input password. Otherwise, it is inconvenient.

  • I don't think this should be implemented. Password-protected rooms are meant to remain private by only allowing those with the password to gain entry into them. If any friend/clanmate who wasn't given the password could join, privacy would be lost.

So we can have strictly passworded game, which means everyone need the password, and loosely passworded game, which means friends, clan alliance or whoever has password, can join.

That will just be a waste of time. I'm sure it's not that hard whispering,"What is the pass?".

If it's a friend list invite then you don't need to.

But if I don't know who is the host, how could I ask him to invite me?

this would destroy the competitive community lol.

why? because on every players friends list there are at least 2-3 childish people who think its hilarious to enter rooms randomly and make people restart scrims. further more they'd be able to see the password sometimes so they could just join get the pass then just spam it in the lobby... it wont work.

Press on the room and look into description?.. As easy as that?...

anyone on your friends list can invite you to the room and get in without the password provided they in the room in question, the person hosting it doesn't need to invite you or have to unless he knows you lol.

just pm'ed one of your friends in game if they are in the room.

edit: the guy above me is correct also you can simply find out whos hosting the room by just looking at the description.

If they hacks in my room, they will be reported and banned, so they would not in my friend list again. If they do some improper things against my standard, for example, racism, hackaccusation, insulting, they would deserved to be removed from my friend list.

That is what friend list should be, right?

Only if your friend is hosting an open to friend room, you can join without password. Otherwise, if your friend inside, he can ask the host to invite you. Or I can ask the host to invite me.
