I keep getting something saying "Client Error" in the middle of the games I play,
it happens about every second game I play,
is there something I can do to fix this
or is this one of those problems that you just have to put up with?

    [4] Please attach a screenshot of your Windows Task Manager - under "Processes" TAB. (Screenshot only)

    HOW:
    - How to take a screenshot - Press "Print Screen" then paste it in your Paint program then save as jpeg file and upload it.

    [1] May we know when is your last installation of Cross Fire?
    [2] And what is the client version or date? Is it CF_NA_Setup1084?
    [3] How did you patch? Auto or Manual Patch?
    - If Manual patch, what is the manual patch that did you used?
    [4] Are your video card versions updated?
    [5] Do you have a Direct X installed on your PC?

    [1] Scan your computer for malwares, spywares, & virus (Full-Scan).
    [2] Run a registry cleaner.
    [3] Here's the Installer & Latest Manual Patch

    [A] Install this first - Download - Full Client Download

    [4] Close other programs that is not needed when playing crossfire.

    [5] Add "crossfire.exe" in your antivirus exclusions or trusted applications.

    [6] Then launch game using "CfLauncher".

    [Temporary solution]How to avoid your PC from Freezing(Client mfc error)?

    To avoid your Computers from getting hang/freeze when "Client mfc application" error appears.

    Try to follow this temporary solution.

    When "Client mfc application" error pops-up(Usually after each game it'll appear).

    DON'T press the "Close" Button.

    Instead open your "Windows Task Manager" (CTRL+ALT+DEL)

    Select/Highlight Crossfire then hit "End task"

    When your Crossfire client successfully closes. That's the time you'll click the "close" button on the "Client mfc application" error window.

    In this way it'll prevent your Computer to hang/freeze when you encounter this error.
