Project Blackout is made by the same company who makes the crossfire, smilegates I think.

I can not find a cheese fix link now. I remember I have read some thread and downloaded a fix for xp laptop before, but I am not which one and for which game. And it is also said that the cpl fix is not a total fix anyway.

About windows 7, I have to do the movement test to see if I really need a fix. After disable windows increase precision, the mouse is very controllable now. Cheese fix said it would not affect the normal windows operation, does the windows 7 fix works the same way?

I just got messed up with mouse recently and think I have fixed it already, it turns out I still need some a third party tool to fix it, that sucks.

I am not sure if thread like this have been stick in some place. But when you are not a new player any more, you think you need not to read tutorial any more.

It really should build an check box in the game gui to control it, instead of searching thread to find an answer, sometimes one even don't know what is the problem.

But use a small box and put your mouse inside, then lean the box and let the mouse slide, you will see what happens.

In my xp test done previously, I can not not tell there is mouse acceleration (but as this test has many error source -- mouse normally would not slide as you wanted, they rotate during slide and if it slides too fast, it bounces), I need a box to test on windows 7.
