Max number of LT spots in clan?

I've been puzzled to the answer of this question for a certain amount of time now, but as the tittle says. What is the max number of LT spots that can be purchased and used in the item mall? Right now, I'm kind of surprised that there can be over 25 spots. Also, when you demote someone, does the spot it self get deleted or does it remain?

The same amount minus 1 of the maximum amount of players aloud in 1 clan.
You can for example have all spots but leader be LTs.
