CF is SOOO SLOWWW
Not as in gameplay, in fact, gameplay wise, it is fine as ever.
So I came back 2 days ago, and everything from entering a channel, to entering a match is slow as hell. it takes literally 10-30 seconds when before it was instantaneous. It can't be my internet or my ping, I assure you. Sometimes, my match crashes and brings me to the lobby with errors that I can't remember right now...
Any solution? Is it just me?

Oh thank god, and to think I was the only one too. Joining a match takes literally 10 seconds, and sometimes you can't even join it because of some "Hosting Issue". I feel you bro, it's not just you. I guess we should just lay off CF for a few days until this issue gets fixed...le sigh.

Doesn't do us any good when trying to track down issues. I'm staring at the game population numbers right now, and the thousands of people online right now would seem to contradict your message.
Now, if you posted some useful information for us like: What servers did you experience this on? What time of day was it? Where are you connecting from? Etc etc. Then we might be able to narrow down the problem faster and be able to determine whether this is something wrong on our end or your end.
That being said, is anyone experiencing this slow connection outside of the Bravo Server?
We're tracking an issue right now on Bravo, but have no more information at this time on a cause or a solution. If players want to provide more details with their message then we have a larger pool of information to work with. -

It happens through out the day sometimes it will go back to normal, but for the majority of the day it is slow. And if you think it is happening only at bravo, because it was more crowded there, that is because it was worse than Alpha because that is usually very crowded, so everyone went to Bravo but Bravo got just as worse when people started playing there.

Sunday: UK4 - 20:30 to 22:30 GMT +2 - Belgium - slow entering of rooms/channels/score screens/storage item shop. Also a slow leaving of storage/item shop/rooms/channels. And a slow switching of teams and joining games (instead of instantly starting with loading the map)
Monday: Alpha/UK1/UK4 - around 19:00 till 22:15 - Belgium - same stuff as sunday + host errors give a 50ish (I didn't count them, just held down the enter button for about a minute until they all passed) error messages instead of 1. Sometimes it would give you the host error message spam, then start loading the game and kick you out of the room right after it stopped loading.
Tuesday: UK1 - 19:30 to 22:00 - Belgium - occasional slow loading, 50ish host error messages at once. -

I get a ping that ranges from 100 to 160 on Bravo Server only, I get a stable 66-75 ping on the rest NA servers. I believe Bravo server was moved on one of those maintenance's that was done to the server database a few months ago and the connection from me to the server is taking longer than what it should. -

This is about the slowness in the lobby, not in the actual gameplay. Can't say I've experienced or heard of your problem so far. -
ok i having the same issues 15-17 ping 80-124 fps experienced.last night everytime i switched servers mostly from bravo to alpha got connection expired just switching today bravo took yeah about 10-30 seconds juts to get into the server and am getting host error in bravo.then after got host error game froze.

i got some slow loading into the servers and when it did finally load i picked alpha 7 channel waited 0:45 seconds and then it loaded me into the channel and then i picked a game to play and was disconnected...same thing for bravo and echo servers...ugh

*COUGH* I log in from or around 5pm-11pm eastern time in NORTH CAROLINA, then i pick servers, slow as ****, then join room slow as **** join game slow as ****. Also i sent in Support Tickets you your damn monkeys that just sent me links where i been and found no solutions to why my cf runs werid on my vista. back to topic. i join then comes my cf black screen, res is all good. bt then my fps is so ****ed. i reinstall about 5 times and didnt work. imma go into it right now n see if it works P.S imma sent another support ticket on why my vista dont like my cf. AND PLEASE LET IT BE YOU WHO ANWERS BECAUSE YOUR MONKEYS JUST GIVE ME OTHER LINKS WHERE I BEEN AND DIDNT FIND A SOLUTION. Thank you. :[ -
I've been logging on quite a bit throughout today and yesterday as well, as early as 4 AM and as late as 11 PM (EST in NE Ohio). Launcher seems to be fine, but as soon as I log in, selecting any server, every channel, and every room takes longer (10-20 seconds longer) than before. It's been the same way every time I've logged in today and yesterday. Exiting a match, the scoreboard can take an extra 10-15 seconds to load, and even leaving rooms it takes longer. Every so often I get the host error and it takes anywhere from 30-60 seconds for the dialogue box to finally go away. Also (not sure if it's just me or something I didn't read about before) my ping jumps 20 pts higher in some rooms, whereas before it had been pretty steady around 39-41. Hope this helps.

OMG! i thought i was a person who only got that problem. when i started CF my mouse didn't move smoothly. It moved like lagging but my brother's computer didn't get that problem and i did uninstall CF and reinstall but when i hit download, the browser didn't work too
im confusing because my laptop's still good for now -

2 things, just so you know (even though i thought common sense summed it up)
1. for every 1 CF player on the forums there is probably about 1000 that don't know about the forums, so saying things like "thousands of people online seem to contradict your message" is really just a snooty way of ignoring issues while making yourself look bad, you don't need to be rude. Just my Opinion.
2. This Lag thing doesn't effect us getting online, in fact your numbers would be correct thousands of people ARE in fact online, however ALL the people i spoke with today reported the same lag issues, but just chalked it up to either their own internet or CF having a bad day. However, so I don't come off as a troll, let me explain my issue, I log into CF fine, I choose a server and wait an additional 45-60 seconds longer than usual(usually instantly) and it loads the channels, repeat for channel selection(on all servers and channels) now assuming i dont get some random error that freezes my game(which has never happened to me before) I get into room selection-which again takes the path of server/channel selection and wastes my time again...meanwhile i can see the chat box is NOT lagging and seems to be moving in real-time (with sean303 spamming free aimbots as usual and random people winning black market items). Now..I get into a game room and attempt to join....same thing wait 45-60 seconds, sometimes i get in others it kicks me to lobby...but assuming i get in, gameplay is 100% normal, better than normal even, game ends, 45-60 secs to load results, it takes about the same amount of time to access storage repair guns or leave the room/channel/server. I know info is critical so I'll let you know my Internet is Fiber Optic, im not a professional IT guy so I cant tell you the exact speed, but I can download a 20 gig file in about an hour, which based on system requirements for this game, it blows it out of the water, my computer is a quad core, with a high end vid card, again, dont know the specifics but I play MW3 on it no problem...this is not a user sided error, this is the CF servers, and I'm aware that you guys will be doing a reboot tonight or w/e...so hopefully it fixes the issue. if you need any more info i can find my random computer booklets and and try to sort my way thru the tech specs.

Whilst where on this server unstable state subject . i wish for a ping limit on just 1 of the 5 uk servers , it isnt hard to do this . then maybe just maybe us legit players might beable to enjoy this game much better with out the cheating turks RO PL PT Br's and other lagging kids from out side the region ZONE
