Can't start crossfire

Need help, ive posted on tech thread but no help there.

Was working until 2 days ago, whenever i start crossfire at the part where i fill in my pass word, a box pops up and says "Cannot connect to server"

its not my internet b/c everything else is working

plz help

It could be his computer taking too long to get to the log-in menu and it times out...

Don't you get that message when the account that you are logging in to is banned? Or am I thinking of something else..? :[

No, the message from that is like 'you cannot access the test server' or something.

this is a result of your internet being too slow. Since cf uses more internet than other apps, thats why other apps work and cf doesnt.

try to log in at different times of the day. morning and evening...as sometimes your internet may be congested due to too many people using your ISP at the same time.

If you're absolutely 10000% sure this isnt the case, then it's some sort of computer error, since you said u already reinstalled.

internet is fine with all other games and in speed tests, its only in CF

I get those messages when I either take too long to log in, or the game loads too slow and I enter in my password and it says it to.

glad i am not the only one who had this issue....i had this happen also...'before' the maintenance had begun.

have you checked the allow list on your firewall software etc?

i got that when my antivirus updated, and cf got put on the ban list, therefore stopping it getting access..?

Check your firewall setting maybe. Add CF into allowed list.

try to logging on the website of z8games with the account that you can not enter and see if you have any problem like ban or another thing

if you play metin2, then read this:

Your account is closed due to you having some problems from the Metin2 side, you need to open a ticket with Metin2 and once you answer a few questions from them they will unblock your account.

Until then the account will remain this way.
