Scar Light technically is better but people will rage at you and often kick you for using it so your best bet is to get the m4a1 as it isnt really a hard gun to use anyway but you wont get kicked for using a 'noob gun'.

i really don't see how or why people complain about the SL being OP... especially since we have the M14EBR and the M4a1-S patriot...

people will kick you for SL but they won't kick you for using a m14ebr?? To be honest, I'd rather fight someone with a SL than a M14..

It seems that with all the OP guns being released... the average standard should be raised...

Oh...they'll kick you for using an m14 or the patriot. Trust me, I have both. But really they kick you for pwning. Saying it's because of the gun is just padding for their ego.

Its true , the m14 ebr is pretty unbalanced with the recoil ,range , damage and reliability
An m14ebr burst is way more likely to kill then an m4 one for example
its a zp gun though , so i never ever kick people for using it

M4A1 is what you want, most balanced Assault Rifle in the game.

DO NOT buy the Scar Lite, the most OP/Noobish Assault Rifle to be released in CF.

I never said there were no fake questions , i said there are rhetorical ones which sometimes could be mistaken for "fake questions" which is an invalid term

Buy the gun you want. I suggest if you want to be in competitive play to get the M4A1. Otherwise get the Scar Light.

Generally if people are going to kick you, it won't matter what gun you are using.

i dont care what gun you use, 3 rules though.
NO spraying
NO reloading constantly
NO throwing grenades at my/other teammates feet.

my GM rules^^, and SL is ftw, i got 7 day version and finished a game full of bhopping bd high pingers on other team with 30-5
EDIT- surprised but haven't seen "KICK SCAR LIGHT NOOB" yet.

It is because Scar Light is a very good gun. but, people who have low ranks usually can't buy it yet. since they are jealous, they think it is an unfair GP gun like m12.
