Its been long enough, Time for Some Restrictions
Alright, CF BR is in open beta and CF EU has the full game out.
Im tired of playing foreigners with 200 ping+ in daily games. Its time to restrict new accounts, allowing only Canadians and Americans living in their respective countries to make new accounts.There is to many foreigners playing this game. I cant enjoy any server other than Echo 8. Ive played CF china before and everyone in pubs has <100 ping(except me of course.)
Were not a 3rd world country, we should of had the ip restrictions from the start. Come on Z8, be smart players would be more happy if they played with similar pings. No one likes people flying around the map cause their lagging. You should really consider this thread, as i know tons of people agree with this statement. Come on Z8, LEY GO!

IP restriction depends on the developers, right?.

I agree with you. I'm from Mexico, but even I hate playing with people who don't even speak English. It feels bland at times to just play and have no interaction or sense of sport with the enemy team. I also hate how most hackers are from foreign countries, most of the people who go 'round yelling " kick derp hack! ", because they get killed too many times.
We gotta stop these immigrants once and for all!

Hey!. Immigrants are entitled to a little bit of hypocrisy. Americans exercise that fact by merely by living in America, so I think I can indulge myself with a little bit of cynicism.
Hmm.. Although, can I consider myself an immigrant?. I don't even have an U.S. passport anymore. Just my Mexican passport...
And to be honest.. My country is glued to America.. Our economy almost relies in a big part on tourism and our contact with the U.S., so I could put myself in the same position as a Canadian or an American complaining about the same problem, right?.

I FULLY support this suggestion.
I run at 74 ping, with high FPS 180 - 240.
I HATE playing with people 2x my ping and above.
The TANK/TELEPORT/Most of the time the sound is unsynced with were they actually are.
Most 65% of them haack and/or cheat.
They constantly harass the good players, with spamming that so and so is a haacker.
They NEVER kick their haackers. (Coming from someone who plays GM, all the time.)
I would LOVE to see IP Restrictions/BANS for most of the foreign countries who's pings SUCK.
But this won't happen, because there are some foreign GM's and MOD's who would be unable to play. ZP sales would drop substantially and there would be A LOT of QQ/RAGE threads made by foreign people who think it's unfair to them. Well guess what, life is unfair at times, go play a game that isn't based off your ping/fps, Like TETRIS? -
Well, i´m turk. (living in germany.) - Chillin´ with my 50 Ping on the UK servers. - Kinda bugs me. - Surrounded by 300 Pings... - Mostly those were some from egypt and turkey and brasil.
I still didnt get it, why they didnt buy the license or atleast shouldnt had blocked the german IPs for new accounts. - The egys etc. are way worse. - And guess what, theyre not blocked. and still, they dont even have their own server. Turkey... same shi.t (Well honestly. whenever i see a turk with a high ping, i kick them out of the room.) Dont care if they speak my language or not. -

With the LA:CF coming out, I don't see any reason why they should allow players with their own version to play on the NA servers. I know someone is going to say well what about the UK players. Well it's simple UK PLAYERS AREN'T LIL QQ CHILDREN WHEN THEY DIE!!!
I am tired of having to play with these uber pingers who tank/teleport/trans threw walls ect.
Then the spam flow of insults in Portuguese come along with Kika, Racker, F11, Noob!!!
I know, I know that everyone has the right to play this game, but when they have THEIR OWN version, why not force them to play it? It's like hey I have a version that I will get much better ping, ect. on, however I want to stay on this server to peeve off the people with good pings...
Imagine how many people would stop kicking and the haacking situation would go down a lot....
I will keep on DREAMING that someday, people will say ENOUGH with this, and RESTRICT countries like those........... -
They can't really cut off South Americans (and other high pingers) who have spent money on CF:NA but they should allow them to transfer their accounts over to their local version. I don't know how they would do this but maybe charge a small fee to make the labor of transferring their accounts worth it for the devs. They'd have to submit a ticket requesting to have their account transferred.
For the record I got nothing against "foreigners" like some people do. I don't hate BRs. I just want my bullets to register when I shoot someone. And I'm sure South Americans do too. But they won't play CF:LA if they've already sunk money into their NA accounts.
