I got the point of that movie. It was nice to see the japs weren't so mindless, but I didn't feel sorry for them for a second. Their stupid officers and their fanatical ways caused this shi". It's kind of a bummer to see how families lost their, brothers and sons to pride, though.

I still think the Atomic Bomb was damn necessary. Can't say the same about nuclear weapons

No, it wasn't necessary. In fact, the Japanese tried to surrender before the U.S used the atomic bomb (The reason they tried to surrender was because the Soviet Union's Army successfully invaded Japan, and they were in their way to the capital), they only had one condition, they wanted to keep their emperor, of course the U.S refused, stating that what they wanted, was an unconditional surrender. The Japanese said no, and then the U.S used those atomic bombs. After that, the U.S Govt. said "You know what guys? You can keep your emperor after all!!"
Harry S. Truman (The U.S President during that time) had personal reasons to drop the bombs, one of them is that he disliked the Japanese, let me rephrase this, he disliked everybody who is not white (Racist,and it wasn't a secret, racism was a common practice in the U.S). He only wanted, and I'm quoting him here, "to teach those yellow *******s a lesson".

Saying that the use of the atomic bombs was necessary in order to save lives, which was their excuse, is bull crap.

I agree with everything except for this statement. There was 1.3million troops stationed in Manchuria who couldn't make it to Japan after the naval blockade by the US 5th fleet.

And why you people are talking about this is beyong me, I understand the trollish nature of the obviously angry anglo saxons of this forum, but really this isn't the place to speak of such things.
