When you started CF open task manager under process find CrossFire.exe
right click on it then select set affinity and unmark core 1.

Does that mean that only 1 core will be used? That will put that core into full load all the time.

I tried your method and it seems working, also a correction, I noticed the slight sticky effect in tdm with 16 players and hackers, I did you tutorial and in the next game I play I found no more sticking. Thanks very much.

I notice the i3 doesn't have the probably, but it takes me quite long to figure out how to change mouse setting. The default increase accuracy setting makes the mouse very sensitive, I can rarely do a 360 spin smoothly with my laptop, but on the i3 win7 system, I did a 720 spin easily.

After disable it, mouse starts to feel more controllable.

I think both of these information should be sticky in a Tech FAQ section.

And do you have solution to the resolution change?

On my laptop, I occasionally get stuck in the room loading page, and if I don't kill the process, it will finally stop the attempt and kick me back into lobby. However, resolution changed (either the cf gets bigger than whole screen or shrink to every small. Either I can not find the button or pointer is in different position than the highlighted button. I am not sure if they have fixed this since my support ticket replied, but last night I found my desktop's cf screen get offset, and the button is no reachable again.

RECENT game experience is really terrible, all kind of strange bugs keeps me kill and restart the process, and almost every open room have to be with hackers.
