No Sound For the Game

Alright, Well here is my Dilemma.

Amongst all the other problems right now I'm having a Sound Problem.
I've checked the Windows Volume for Crossfire, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, Did a System restore, Uninstalled and Reinstalled again. System Restored again... then I Uninstalled and reinstalled... Among downloading the patch 3 seperate times and getting Xtrap errors.. I've spent the last 4 hours trying to resolve my problem. I have sound for anything and everything but no longer will Crossfire give me sound...

Any ideas?

I should also Add, Windows Sound for Crossfire is on.
Ingame sound is on, I've even turned on the Background music in Sound options but I don't get sound at all. I'm losing my mind. I spend too much money on this game for this to happen. I'm going to cry. lol

Wow with all this amazing Technical Support help I'm feeling fuzzy inside. So now I'm downloading the crossfire 1082 file from atomicgamer. Seeing if maybe the patch I got through the patcher is causing the problems. With all the other issues with the current patch it won't surprise me.
