both cars are headaches to own,
BMW loses its value very fast and has transmission problems after 60000 miles, which is pathetic for what you are paying
AUDI has tons of electrical problems, once again a headache to go through
go with a Porsche
Porsche Cayanne is imo cool -
but
1. it needs to be a convertible
2. it needs to seat 4
GTR seats 4 exactly
I do agree with jaffi here.... GTR all the way. 0-60 in 2.8
I have an audi a4 and i wouldnt take a bmw over it of the same class.
Idk if gtr has option for convertable or not.

yeah the audi that we have has a few problems such as it thinks a light is out and gives us notifications about it every time we go in.
the BMW we have in mind has 6k miles on it so it wont be awhile until 60k. we have a nice guy in town that knows his sht about repairing expensive cars, and he is pretty cheap so the transmission shouldnt be much of a problem.

those cars are actually pretty nice my mom had one,
but i would go with 95 dx toyota corolla.
OT: if money is not an issue nor resale value i would go with the BMW, it's a very clean design
