Opinions on the Ruger? As a GM gun.

I know you want a silenced gun like the M4A1 - Silver. However I am looking at this gun for it's damage and accuracy, I don't spray and usually tap or 3 shot burst, so I won't create too much noise. So how about it, any opinions on this low rank, AK47?

Sure, why not.

It's not like taking a K1A or SG552, or typical machine gun or AK for that matter and going around and spraying

I think it's a pretty good gun.

Personally I like my g36k for this. Due to it's high RoF, medium damage, and that it has 100% wallbang.

Or any shotties.

Ruger should be good too though.

Its about as close as you can get to having an AK-47, without it being as loud as one.

So Yey or Nay to the Ruger? I don't want to waste my money on a gun, that isn't going to get me to were I want to be.

I would like a gun now that would help me gain kills faster, and thus help me gain ranks quicker. Remember I don't buy/survey ZP (Yet.) and need a few strong choices when it comes to GP guns for GM. Ohh but something that works well at all ranges, and has 100% wallbang.

The Ruger is pretty decent in GM, any PP'ers might hate you still if you needlessly fire it off, but thats about it.

You won't find very many powerful guns that have 100% wallbang. MP5, Type89 and XM8 are about the only ones that have 100% or close to such.

Generally its hard to find a gun that matches all you've listed in one package.

I generally prefer the straight up M4 or AK, typically cant really go wrong with those.

i dont own Ruger, but i tryed him on a GM match, from ground(yeah i am a gun stealer, problem?) and i say its a pretty nice gun. you can give ghosts HS very easy... and gwess what? I et kicked... NOOOOOOOOOO

The Ruger has a high recoil like an AK but with a different pattern so you could die a lot because of that. Also, the reload is rather sluggish as well as the weapon itself which makes you an easier target.

If you do go into a GM with a Ruger, make sure you have a pistol you can rely on. Chances are, you're gonna have to quick switch all the time so you can run around a little faster.

There is a lack of reg in the game so even if you did nail shots with the Ruger on a ghost while he/she rushes you, it's not for sure that you'll do 100 or 39 damage. For me, it's usually 39 damage...

For me its one of those guns that are fun to use in GM - like the winny or the ak knife when just using the knife :P I sold it tho I didnt really use it that much. I generally just stick to the m4 or use winny or ak knife when im just messing around and bored of the m4 :P Either that or I just run around using my axe to kill them ghosties xD

The Ruger Mini is actually pretty good in GM, it is like firing a Thomson but only single shooting.

For gp in GM, I'd recommend G36K and Xm8 over the ruger...
Otherwise the k-2 seems to be a better choice too.

The Lolli-Ruger gun is pretty much epic. Hate it's recoil though. Also, Type 89 is not loud, but I highly doubt it's silenced. I don't see no silencer on it.

I like ruger, but I'd say patriot would be better for GM.

Not that much of a rifle, won't be my main weapon someday lol.
