Sony Vegas 11

I'm having some trouble with Sony Vegas.

Everytime I try to crop/pan it, the option is faded out.

Help. I'm new to this

Are you selecting the video in the manager bit or the timeline? It only lets you crop videos on the timeline.

Open a video go to the time line and right at the end of the clip there is a little sign that looks like this :

and double click it

It works with any version of sony vegas...

move your mouse on the timeline, and scroll your mousewheel upwards to zoom in on the timeline.

Or uncheck maintain aspect ratio (one of the commenters on that video ^ suggested this)
