New mode(s) suggestion.

Ok here's two modes I thought up just a few minutes ago.

Defend and Rescue mode.

One team would have to defend a bunch of injured military personal until help arrives, there would be an in-game timer that would count down till help arrived.

The other team would have to stop the rescue by taking out the air craft, with a mode only RPG, (Random player would get the RPG, like hero mode.) The other players would have to take out the other team.

PoW Camp Rescue.

One team would be holding military personal in a camp as prisoner's on this side of the map there would be two mounted sniper rifle towers (two random players will spawn/respawn in the towers.), these sniper rifles would fire slower than say an Awm does.

The other team would have to rush in and keep the enemy snipers at bay, while the person with the C4 would plant it on the barricaded door, to release the prisoners and lead them to safety.

Ofcoarse the mission would fail if either team were to be wiped out, like any other mode.

Maybe a possible 3 second respawn would be nice in either mode.

  • The first idea sounds quite good, even though I think "Escort" mode would be a lot better. Without choppers and RPGs. For example escorting a car with someone inside it, but the car can get damaged by shots and repaired by the defending team.

    Secondly, I would really like to see a "Last Man Standing" mode.

    I don't really understand the second suggestion though :S

    He has a point though, the RPG will never be seen in Cross Fire NA, period.. So don't even bother suggesting something that involves it. And besides, the basic idea for the mode, just seems really choppy and not very well thought out..

    The second one just seems like a six year old would come up with, no offense, not to mention we really don't need modes that require a whole new set of maps to be put in the game.. Just add new maps for the modes we have, and maybe in about 6 months expect a new mode..

    Not bad really. kinda like both of them but the RPG wont happen.
    He has a point though, the RPG will never be seen in Cross Fire NA, period.. So don't even bother suggesting something that involves it. And besides, the basic idea for the mode, just seems really choppy and not very well thought out..

    Not Trolling but just to clarify.

    1) you stole the protect and rescue Idea from counterstrike.
    2) RPG's will NEVER come to this game as mods have pointed out before that there will never be RPG's.
    3) doubtful aircraft will ever be involved in this game.
    4) Non of these things will ever happen? why because the Asian developers are greedy pr1cks that keep all the good stuff in their native versions. so don't waste your time or valuable forum space really not worth it.

    Because weapons like that are too large, do too much damage, and are absolutely ridiculous in a game like Cross Fire. I'm not trying to be offensive towards you, but it's true.
  • Oh, I should play Socom Confrontation again if this mode comes out. Cuz it's the exact same. But with less cheaters. (What games doesn't have less cheaters though?)

    It's already been stated that high explosive weapons will never be added to Cross Fire. Not even for a single mode.

    1. It would be no bigger than say the length of an M60, maybe slightly larger.
    2. Too much damage? Ever hear of the sniper rifle in this game called the Awm, 100 damage.
    3. So reduce the explosion radius to that of a wide nade. (Since wide nades were allowed into this game.)

    It fires slow as heck, reloads slow as heck, and isn't very accurate over long distances.

    But yeah, I see how it is. An RPG is way too cool for this game. They would rather re-skin a gun several times instead.

  • I've noticed a lot of grenade launchers and lasers being suggested here lately.

    They said they will not add the rpg
    Nuff said , you dont need to know why , its not your decision , and if you would just go around -1 on our suggestions because you made a terrible one would just show your true colors
