I actually agree on this since a lot of the ribbons you have to use ZP to collect them. With an awesome award for the 30/40 ribbon more people would want that ribbon and by that have to buy more ZP.
Nobody's forcing you to get ribbons. They're an added incentive to the game. Albeit some ribbons require ZP, many are based on your gameplay, and how long you've been playing. Most require you to be active in game. There are only a few that actually require ZP [such as Revival of the Fittest and Ain't No Party like a SPOP Party]. Many of them could go by much faster with ZP, but none require you to specifically purchase ZP. -

The trend should be that the higher the milestone the higher reward it gives.
That is logical and not only logical but better for Z8.
So going by the bad trend set, the rewards will be like this higher up the scale:
10 Ribbons - 5,000 GP
20 Ribbons - M4CC
30 Ribbons - 10,000 GP
40 Ribbons - Temp Shovel RD
50 Ribbons - 15,000 GP
60 Ribbons - Item
70 Ribbons - 20,000 GP
80 Ribbons - Item
90 Ribbons - 25,000 GP
100 Ribbons - Item
110 Ribbons - 30,000 GP
And people would be just as inclined to get to 110 then everyone else is to get to 30. -
With a bigger reward more people would try to get it. Yes some ribbons doesn't even include buying ZP but through buying ZP some ribbons will get faster to get. I'm just saying what I would do if there were a bigger reward, buy more ZP. In that way the company earns more money. And that seems to be the priority 1 ATM.Nobody's forcing you to get ribbons. The ribbons are supposed to be a incentive, but what incentive is their to get them if the rewards are this bad? Most of the ribbons that aren't event based usually cost significant ZP investment. In order to get ribbons we either need to invest lots of our time and/or lots of ZP.
The reason why we were collecting ribbons was to get the rewards that are connected to them and for bragging rights. But when the rewards for the higher ribbons suck this bad we no longer have any incentive to even bother with them and we look to foolish investing our time and money on it to feel proud of even having them.
10 ribbons = 5,000 GP. Ok because 5 ribbons can be received for free right from the start and 5 more with a little playing.
20 ribbons = M4A1 CC. Great! There are only 17 potentially free ribbons that can be received right now, the other 3 to get it require ZP investment but probably less then going for a crate gun. A bbit tough but a fair reward.
30 ribbons = 10,000 GP. Is this a cruel joke? Any one that makes it to 30 ribbons would have invested hundreds of dollars to get this high, 10,000 GP is nothing to player that gets 30 ribbons and only valuable to those that can't afford to get ribbons.
40 ribbons = Red Shovel Temp. Now this is just insulting. Sure its has a long time amount but its not permanent. This is obviously Z8 testing if they can get away with terrible rewards. It just screams that Z8 cares nothing for its long term players and is in it only for the money. Companies fail and die when they treat there customers as only a money source. -

i totally understand what you are saying here VATAV i spent money to get zp and i think i'm close to 30 ribbon after i saw that prize i felt insulted... i can get 10k easy when i spin zp crates.. from now on i stop buying zp :d -

there are 6 ribbons now which requires zp,but its sad that i cant get past ribbons since i play only half year,i think would be good if we could get ribbons this year like iron man,sniper week and choose rival side this year again...i guess valentne day ribbon will be anyway..ok just saying -
