Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.
well when im in game sometimes at random my keyboard and mouse lock so i cant move myself and when it locks it just takes me randomly forwards then from side to side then freezes then i cant move my mouse for like 5 seconds, rather annoying, any ideas on how to fix it?

Sometimes I'll move using keys A,W,S,D and hold them down to run. All of the sudden I stop moving, so I let go of the key then press it again and I'm moving again. Not sure why it happens but it doesn't happen often.
When it happens to you, do you continue to see the game going on around you while you can't move? Or do you see other people stop moving as well? If everyone else stops moving as well it's because your fps dropped to 0 momentarily. -

hmmm nah that doesnt happen to me alot very rare that happens even tho i play with 30 fps lol but like ill be runnin forwards then ill try to turn it will freeze and just keep running forward it would let me change direction then the mouse locks aswell like its got the mouse bug after alt tabbing its really annoying -_- -
I used to have this problem with the keyboard, it was more of a delay instead of a lock. It wasn't only this game it happen to me on cs as well. At the end I got a new keyboard and it solved my problems. The wireless keyboards are so shtty that you get random "delays."
It might be that or another kind of in-game bug, but as how you explain this it seems to be similar to the problem I had before. -
Can you list your FPS and ping ingame while these events occur?
Do you see the FPS spike or drop rapidly when it occurs?
Same question with ping.
my fps is usually around 40-60 (depending on players in the room)
this problem occurs frequently (every 1 or 2 minutes..at least) during a period of time ( a few hours)
i didnt notice much change in fps, and my ping is always around 15. -

Could be as Pollo says, that it's a keyboard thing and a solution would be to replace it. -

id say its a server thing.. I use my laptop keyboard, and sometimes the game keeps u moving forward and you would be unable to move your aim for a sec(or sometimes really laggy to move your mouse), and then it would come back after 5 secs or after the round is over. It is a rare case, but it happens. I think it is a bug in game, and not the players' issue. -

I had exactly same problem,I post it last year and someone find a solution that 100% works.When you enter CF open task manager go to process find Crossfire.exe(or in applications right click on crossfire then go to process) than right click go to set affinity and unmark CPU 1.
do not unmark CPU 0

when i right click crossfire.exe, all i see is 'set priority', not 'set affinity'
Ok but can you change which processor run the game if you can set it to CPU 0.I am running Win Xp.
Gigabyte mother board g33 core 2 duo on 2.3 Ghz.(I know my desktop sucks :P )
