Let's discuss tea.
So cookz and I had a brief discussion of our favorite teas, I'm somewhat bored, damn tired, and playing stuff with rory.
So what are your favorite teas, brands, general preferences concerning bags or raw?
I'm interested.
Also, sipping a nice authentic darjeeling.

oooo maybe you can tell me ....I have a keurig and I want to buy tea k-cups. But the kind they have is english tea.... is that normal tasting tea? like red rose or something like that?
i guess what i mean is what is english tea? -
finally a tea-thread!
whenever i have the time i prepare a traditional yerba maté. but sometimes a conventional bag will also do the job. i also like to mix green tee with peppermint.
i drink about 2L a day. i recently disovered a very old teaset in the basement. it looks amazing! -

I can't say I'm much of a tea connoisseur as I've only begun to take a liking to it in the last few months. Twinings has quickly wormed its way into my pantry however.
I do really need to get an actual tea set though. -

It's just a different type of tea, it's exactly what it sounds like. Quite good to be honest, though it depends more on the leaves used. It's best to try a few different kinds and find what you like, but yes, to answer your question it's just a normal tea, albeit a different type.

i enjoy twinings also. one has to mention though, that earl grey is not as healthy as other blends/types of tea. if you drink alot of tea you should rather lean towards camomile. (easier on your stommach)
maybe try Pu-Erh if you get the chance. -

I rarely drink earl grey, cookz claimed it to be his favorite, I prefer lady of the two, but even then I rarely drink them. I prefer Chai and Darjeeling teas. -

I really do need to start making loose leafs, bags are just so much more simpler. -

earl grey with a shot of milk. nothing can beat that i think.
darjeeling can be quite expensive from what i´ve seen in the local shop i go to.
i am fascinated by yerba maté. after pouring hot water, within a few hours it changes it´s color from yellowish to a dark olive-green tone. just one cup per day or you ll spend some time on the toilette. -

yeah, high quality authentic darjeeling is quite a bit over here. Worth it though as I absolutely love the taste.
And yeah, earl grey is definitely good, I just don't enjoy it as much as I do others. -
