Z8 = Cheapskates?

Today I finally got my stuff in the mail from the CF Play 2 Win Event, which was a mousepad, flashdrive, sticker, and a code for the following items: 30 day Aks-74u, 30 day bulletproof vest, 10 revive tokens, 10 large hypomeds.

First off, the "mouspad" is just a thin sheet, almost as thin as paper. I wouldn't even consider it a mousepad.

Second, the flashdrive is 1 GB... I mean what am I supposed to put on that? Seriously?

Third, the code only gave me 1 Revive and 1 Large Hypomed.

So my question is, do you think Z8 is just a bunch of cheapskates?

z8 is no a business to make money, like every other business. you cant expect them to just be giving stuff away all the time, and when they do, be glad you got it.

1st Z8 doesn't make the prizes, they are almost certainly donated. Probably by sponsors and/or PR's of other companies, Z8 didnt have to offer free anything to anyone.

2nd unless youre playing on a glass table/using a horrible non-optical mouse, why should a mousepad need to be some thick spongy monstrosity?

3rd... Free 1GB isn't special but its free 1GB soooo.....

Finally support ticket for in-game items should fix it as previously stated.

This game doesn't have to even have these events.
Because they decided to have a nice event with a prize thrown in you should thank them not critisize them.

Most people I beleive would jump at the chance to earn these items despite what you say.

I won as well, you don't see me complaining about it? I contacted them about the voucher and it is being dealt with - the mousepad isn't any use because I don't need it, but it has a cool design on it - the sticker, put it somewhere.. the USB? Use it for homework or something, shut up.

I think with the time you played in order to earn that stuff you could have mowed at least a couple lawns/shoveled some snow like i did when i was a kid and bring home 200 dollars a day after a few hours and bought your self something nice.

It isn't free when you spend hundreds of hours playing CF to get the prize.

This is a competition, he participated and worked for it, and whatever company is sponsoring the prize they intended to give it out for free.

So he has the right to complain about the quality of the prize that he receives.

What the op received wasn't from the total time he spent playing. 100 random people were selected and they got the prizes previously mentioned; he just happened to be one of the lucky ones. He didn't have to play a ton of hours to get what he got.
